Theodore Vincent, in the article The contributions of Mexico’s first black Indian president Vicente Guerrero illustrates Vicente’s contribution to Mexico’s political foundation between 1781-1831. Guerrero had an African, Indian, and Spanish inheritance. Guerrero’s motherland was a colonial setting where anyone with an African heritage was subjected to lawful detriments by the Spaniards, such as only Africans were subject to slavery. Vicente’s life contributions depict a consistent battle to attain equal rights for African-Mexicans and those on his family’s indigenous side. The first black Indian president is termed as a “consummator of freedom” due to his role as commander in chief of the Mexican armed forces during the 1810-1821 battle with Spain. Equal Employment opportunities Name Affiliation Course Instructor Due Date Equal Employment opportunities Racial diversity in the workplace continues to move at an impressive pace, from recruiting to hiring and promoting people of color. Diversity is crucial for a range of employees since individuals with different backgrounds tend to bring different ideas that enable the employer to appeal to different parts of the marketplace. This contributes to innovation and success. Companies treat recruiting diverse people as compliance or risk mitigation rather than a business opportunity that explains the roles and responsibilities cast upon the diverse employees. Additionally, most companies view hiring people who seem different from most of their employees as lowering the bar. This limiting mindset negatively impacts the ability to recruit and build a genuinely diverse workforce. In line with that, the roles played and cast upon individuals of different races and ethnicities tend to differ from the majority. The Ascend foundation analysis on white-collar employment data from the U.S indicates that white men are by far the most represented group at the management…
Data Mining and Data Analytics Data mining refers to the process of identifying and discovering patterns in large data sets which involves methods that are at the intersection of statistics and database systems. It is the process by which usable datasets are extracted from a large dataset of raw data. Data analytics, on the other hand, is a superset of data mining. Data analytics may be defined as the process of sourcing, cleaning, transforming and analyzing data to develop meaningful pieces of information and insights that can be used in decision-making (Jaisal, 2018). Both data mining and data analytics are terms that are used interchangeably depending on the context, but there are differences between the two as discussed below. Differences between Data Mining and Data Analytics First, data mining is a process in the data analytics process. Data analytics deals with every step that is within the data-driven model. Data mining involves catering the data collection process and gaining meaningful insights. Data analytics makes use of these insights to create a model based on the data. Qualitative and quantitative techniques…
Article by Wil Fulton In the article “Is it time to lower the drinking age back to 18? The author, Wil Fulton, expresses his thoughts concerning possible legislation that would lower the drinking age back to 18; he explores the previous legislation that rose the drinking age to 21 and the impact it would have if the age is lowered. Despite the eighteen-year-olds enjoying several privileges like voting and owning a gun, the law prohibits them from drinking alcohol. However, Fulton explains that there is possible legislation supported by three states that intend to lower the drinking age back to 18. This age has remained 21 since President Ronald signed it into law. Fulton feels that this legislation would be detrimental by explaining how conditions were in the 1970s when the drinking age was 18. He believes that the death rate has reduced significantly due to the minimum drinking age. The author ascertains that there should not be any comparison with Europe who has their limit at 18 since their drinking habits are more responsible. He concludes that in…

A marketable concept is congruent to market specificity, existing gaps, and uses a rationale that woes customers through marketing, branding, and engages extensive product promotion (Lane 2018). Being an entrepreneur is never a walk in the park; it involves risks, sound intuition, and a desire for success. A high energy level is an imperative prerequisite, coupled with a commercial focus and the ability to transform challenges into opportunities (Chavez 2016). Furthermore, a positive attitude towards work and its eventuality- losses or gains are relevant for an aspiring and working entrepreneur. Starting and obtaining success in a business are mutually exclusive, and the latter requires the conscious integration of all production factors. The internal and external business environments must be well evaluated, weighing factors against self to make the next step. Being an entrepreneur is a call into sound management, organization, attention to detail, sound relationships, and ultimately well-deserved returns.
