Family Violence Family violence is a common challenge facing many countries globally. They are abusing behaviors in which the individuals gain power over the other person. Family violence includes a range of emotional, sexual, physical, economic, and psychological torture towards children, women, and elders. Unfortunately, most of the family violence is left unreported to the police or the right institutions that deal with domestic abuse due to the fear of discrimination or further abuse. This has caused many people to die in silence, causing diminished physical and physiological health, decreased quality of life, and reduced personal productivity. Family violence got no limits; it happens regardless of race, religion, culture, or socioeconomic status. After campaigns against family violence for many years now and encouraging individuals to encounter such violence to speak out, fortunately enough, I met one lady who was ready to talk about her experience with family violence. It was a long interactive interview with unfortunate encounters that the interviewee experienced while growing up. Mary said that her father used to intimidate and terrorize her while growing up because she…

The golden ages of European dominance were experienced from the 16th to the 10th century The golden ages of European dominance were experienced from the 16th to the 10th century. During the given period, Europe oversaw the tremendous growth in their industries and trade as its nations explored other continents for valuable resources. From the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus to exploring the African continent, the continent experienced its golden era period. Many scholars have tried to explain the domination of European nations during the period by exploring basic human values as the motivation behind Europe’s success during the period. Among some of the values that Schwartz’s theory seeks to explain include conformity, benevolence, power, and security. For this topic, I will discuss why such values are incapable of explaining world power’s reconfiguration during this period, and…
Fallacies of Reasoning An error that happens in reasoning or rather a flawed argument is referred to as a fallacy. This is an argument that least follows the rules of reasoning and logic, but it appears correct and sound when pronounced. Most of the commercials use a lot of fallacies to attract viewers. An example of a TV commercial with a fallacy of reasoning is the commercial about the Duplex paint (Gass & Seiter, 2018). This advertisement shows a bungalow painted on the outside with various colors. The viewers view the building from the outside, and the assumption is that even the inside is also well painted with the same paint. The fallacy in this Duplex paints is committed because the occurrence is acknowledged on insufficient evidence. This advertisement concludes that people can tell the kind of paint that is has been used inside the house ‘based on showing the painted external parts of the house (Wüst, 2019). The commercial’s slogan is, “One can tell which paint is used in the side from the outside.” The fact is no one…

Identification and Specification Describe the differences between needs identification and defining commercial equivalents and discuss why it is preferable to separate into two stages. One needs to consider these two things when carrying out business with a customer in the takeover period. These are considered as identification of need and converting those needs into a commercial equivalent. The identification of needs is a process that involves determining the desires of a customer in a given product. These needs are often never technical but portray the customer’s thoughts on the product itself. During the acquisition process, there is a need for comparison with other products to enable suppliers to understand what is required and allow the manufacturers to make those products better.
