Wireless devices

Wireless devices in today’s world require connections with other devices to send or derive data. Without such connections, these devices can be of little or no use. The frequencies used in connection and sharing of data between these devices can be referred to as radiofrequency.  There are various technologies used to connect wireless devices, which may include Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi allows the sending and receiving of data between two or more devices. It connects wireless devices such as phones, tablets, and computers. Internet routers are devices used to connect these devices to Wi-Fi.

Bluetooth is another radiofrequency used to co connect wireless devices. It uses UHF waves in the transfer of data between devices over a short range of distance. It is commonly used to connect phones, tablets, and speaker systems between two Bluetooth devices. To ensure the standardization of Bluetooth devices and the provision of similar experience, companies that use Bluetooth in their operations require an affiliation of Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) for certification.  Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMax) is another radio frequency used to connect devices. Data can be transferred through WiMax at a speed of 30 to 40 megabits per second.

802.11 Wi-Fi network is always open to a wide range of cyber threats, and a tight and reliable security measure needs to be taken to protect it. Various measures need to be taken to protect this vulnerable radiofrequency. These include Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), which is used to provide encryption for wireless networks, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), which was the advancement of WEP but used preshared Key(PSK) and temporal key protocol for encryption. The other one is Wi-Fi Protected Access version 2 (WPA2), an advancement of WPA and uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) for encryption. The use o the above-stated encryption technics can help protect 802.11 wireless networks. However, occasional improvement of these measures is encouraged due to advancements in cyber-criminal technics in hacking Wi-Fi networks.

Hi,

This post is wonderful. Different technologies have emerged that wireless help devices such as phones, laptops, and GPS to communicate. The Bluetooth technology will allow users to connect different devices and communicate, mostly sending information between them. Data transfer is the main function of Bluetooth devices. Most of the devices today have Bluetooth capabilities in them, mostly radios that allow one to play music in one device in another device. The best example of such a connection is wireless earpieces and headphones to listen to music from mobile devices without using any wired connections. With the improvements in technology, it is now possible to use these wireless headphones to receive calls.
