This is to notify an exciting beginning and giving the view of respect and togetherness among the characters of the show. We see a full zoo of animals that have gathered together and bowed their relation to the King. Leadership is much emphasized in this show. From it, there are two significant essential aspects of leadership. The first one is that a leader should be a healthy person. In this case, the Lion has been used as the King, where other animals gather to wait and see what the King will have to tell them. The Lion itself is considered a healthy animal. Hence, the producer in this particular show uses impersonation to make the viewer understand the direct connection between the play and the real-life situation. Another essential facet or aspect of leadership, as revealed from this particular play, is that a leader should be respected and distinguish themselves out. In this case, the Lion, as seen, is clearly distinguished out. Among the essential aspects of this review will include how the director and other producers designed the show, the characters, lighting, among other considerations in the film.
In this film, two themes, mainly family and nature, are brought out. This is one of the animated films that are still leading in the industry of arts. In watching this particular film, I was much interested in how the show was designed. It is clear to say that the producer went ahead and applied creativity, especially in creating the film’s content. From the start of the film, it is much excitement, and the show will move you. This is through the way it has been designed, the lightning, the costumes that characters have, and even the dance moves. Such interesting! At this point, it becomes essential to walk you through what the contributors to this film have done to give us such a stunning element. The director of the show, Taymore, has gone the extra mile to bring such a comfortable movie. Through her collaboration with other team members, they did great work, and everyone will agree with this. They made sure that they are coming up with something that will be of more interest and distinguishable. Thus, this made me have my time and watch such an exciting piece.
The three other people that assisted her in the production are Richard Hudson, who was the designer of the whole set. The second one was Donald Holder, who was the person involved in the lighting design of the show, and lastly, Garth Fagan, a choreographer. Everything concerning costumes was done by the director Taymer herself, where she showed skills of a well-developed director in filming, coming up with something that would automatically take the interest of everyone when watching. This made the film sound magic and interesting to anyone who will come across it. Various skills were fully incorporated to make it more fashionable.
Not forgetting about the characters because through the show’s design, they made it very interesting for everyone. Three notable names were employed in the film to make it enjoyable. The first one was Simba, who was acting like a king of all the zoo of animals. The other ones are Nala and Rafiki. Through these interactions and their relationship, we derive our two significant themes of family and culture. They are practicing the culture of leadership, where one can notice that they have their leader. This can be understood beyond this context and be related to the normal society. For instance, we live in a culture where we vote for our leaders, and therefore it is proper to conclude that Taymor used this production to present such an idea. Another theme is family, where a group of animals has come together, and they share most of their experiences.
To conclude, throughout this film, there are few things that I found exciting, and others leaving in great suspense. I was much interested in how the show was designed. For instance, the introduction of the show motivates an individual to continue viewing. The director made it very interesting that one cannot pass without having sometime down on the seat to watch. The other thing is the movement and creativity. The technology was an important aspect to create animation.
On the other hand, I wondered how the director of this particular film made it to animate and design the costumes. In a real sense, this is something that seems magical. I mean, no one can easily understand how it was designed, how the animation is made. It is all just interesting that it gives an urge to continue viewing. The producers used various skills combined to produce such an exciting show. This is through the lighting, the choice of costumes, and the whole animation in general.
