Soap
Soap is a product that is not only used by ladies but also men use it. Understanding the safety and benefits of soaps is serious in helping people using soaps correctly. Soaps are entirely used together with water since they are water-soluble products made from fats and oils or their fatty acids ( Friedman and Wolf 1996). The fats and oils used are obtained either from plants or animals, and each soap is made up of different triglycerides. Other soaps made from ashes obtained from plants, but with the advancement in technology, there is the commercial production of these ashes. The alkali, a base reacting with acid and neutralizing it to make soap, is mostly sodium hydroxide, commonly known as caustic soda, and potassium hydroxide, also known as caustic potash.
