Educational history.
I am a graduate of Purdue University Global. I graduated this year (2020) with a Bachelor’s degree in science in Applied Behavior Analysis.
What do you like about school?
I find a school to be important because I can gain the information that I need. This has helped me grow as a person and also to have professional growth.
What have you found to be challenging?
One of the things that I have found to be challenging is time management. Since I have an 8-5 job, I really have to manage my time well to have some time left to dedicate to my studies.

Job/Career history
I work full time in a Maximum Security Forensic Psychiatric Hospital that is owned by Maryland. I have worked in the hospital as a Mental Health Associate for 8 years.
What have you liked about your jobs?
My job has been an eye-opener to many things; for instance, I have understood society better and the cases of mental illnesses.
What kind of job/career do you hope to obtain with your degree?
Upon acquiring my degree, I hope that I will open a practice or get a better position in the state or federal government.

What do you like to do with your spare time?
I enjoy taking long walks during my spare time since it clarifies my mind, and I also enjoy cooking.
What kinds of books/movies do you enjoy?
I love to read fiction books; when it comes to movies, I enjoy a comedy. I also once now and then watch some documentaries that I find interesting.

Why are you obtaining this degree?
I am obtaining this degree because it will help me to grow professionally. With the degree, I will be able to get a better job in the field.
Why did you decide to attend Grand Canyon University?
I choose to attend Grand Canyon University because it is a well-ranked university, and I strongly feel that it will help me achieve my goals. There is also flexibility in learning, meaning I will be able to learn as I work.
How will obtaining this degree help you define, refine, and achieve your goals professionally, personally, and spiritually?
Professionally the degree will help me to know with certainty the career path that I want to take. Personally, it will help me have a better understanding of other people and myself as well. Been in a Christian university, I will be able to grow spiritually. I will be able to integrate my Christian values into my work, as well.
