Hey Samuel, I like how you have discussed the life of the Abbasid Caliphate and people living in the Abbasid Caliphate. It is interesting to learn how Abbasid Caliphate and the Byzantine Empire were rivals for so long, yet they were trade partners. This means that the two groups trusted each other’s goods. It was also hard for their leaders to understand each other, which implies that the cause of their disagreements was a misunderstanding among the leaders. Also, quite to note is that Abbasid had made Baghdad a beautiful city for Arabs. The land was well cultivated, and the building was well built. The palace where the rulers lived was well decorated with gold and surrounded by the military guard. All these indicate that Abbasid Caliphate was a great ruler who ensured that his people’s palace and rights are taken care of.
