Summary

It also impacts the children’s pre literary skills development like vocabulary and phonemic awareness.  Further, it also identifies the right methods of data collection. For instance, in this study, the researchers use qualitative analysis by carrying out parent surveys, which helps gather to see the parental implication on students’ literacy abilities.

In the study, there is qualitative research, which entails the collection and analysis of non-numeric data in understanding different concepts and opinions. There is a qualitative analysis of the impact of parent interaction on preschool student’s skill development. To gather relevant research data for the topic, the researchers used qualitative research methods such as observations, interviews, surveys, and focus groups. There is the use of observation qualitative research method where there was a continuous observation of students’ growth and proficiency after increasing parent interactions through teaching strategy gold. Through ongoing observations and in-class assessments, the researcher gathered and recorded data on 38 objectives in six different developmental areas in an online TSG system. The results show that offering a classroom lending library improved the likelihood of parents reading at home with their students, increasing their likelihood of actively participating in their children’s skill development. How the outcome of the research is analyzed offers the well-researched results that parent participation in school activities has a significant effect on the student’s literacy skills in understanding the letter and sound relationship. The discussion clearly shows the correlation between a parent’s participation and a student’s language development. Further, there is no statistical significance in language and literacy skill growth with self-reported home reading levels.

In conclusion, through critical analysis, the article is trustworthy and unbiased. It is because it uses the right type of study design for examining dependent and independent variables. Further, qualitative analysis aids in the collection of non-numeric data that helps in getting the desired outcome. On the other hand, the study is relevant to data since it uses current literature reviews and theoretical framework. However, I would recommend that the sample selected for the study be increased so that the study results would be generalized.
