research critique
Abstract
This is a research critique that is meant to show the areas where the article has strengths and weaknesses.in this critique, an appropriate problem statement was used, which was the main aim of the research. The literature review supported the statement of the problem by giving supporting evidence. The conceptual framework worked out properly as data was well presented in tables, making the analysis of data easy. The research hypothesis was designed through creating a relevant research question which was infection control measures which would be employed, the prevention techniques and the adverse processes associated to the NC in pro-Hosps cross-sectional research design with a quantitative research approach were used for the study. Data analysis through the use of the SPSS software was used, and finally, the research implication of the findings was determined.
Statement of the problem
This study employs the use of a problem statement, which suggests the purpose for which the research was conducted. Looking at the study, the statement problem can be located. Its purpose is to conduct an analysis of the non-conformities that are related to acute occurrences control in a hospital, prevention, and infections. Evaluation of the present non-conformities in the medical setting on infection prevention and other serious conditions of health is essential to the practice of nursing since challenges associated with the treatment and management of infections can be innovated. Nurses always find matters easy when it comes to handling their clients. Discovering new methods of medication and prevention of infection makes patient recovery easy.
Literature review
The literature review use in this study is evidence supporting the selected problem statement. Quality and performance of clinical institutions meant to be members of the Health Unic System Hospital Quality and Performance Program in Minas Gerais had itself analyzed by action groups. In this regard, the literature review directly corresponds with the problem statement since it supports it. It is stated in the literature review that hospitals will consolidate their attention by offering in health distribution places, constructing public medical institutions that have functional facilities, providing high-quality services that are meant to handle the requirements of clients that are involved in the connections of healthcare.
Looking at the literature review, however, there is no element it being recent as it was published in 2009. The literature review wasn’t published in the last five years, and neither is it new. It, however, provides a concrete foundation for the research since the interventions that will be included to manage medical conformities in the context of health have been displayed. Primary sources such as the Health Unic System Performance Program and others were used to ensure the credibility of the study.
Conceptual/Theoretical Framework
The theoretical framework has been employed in the research so that ideas and data about the research can be displayed in a short format. This will make understanding quick and grabbing a wide range of data in a short time easy. Representation of data has been used through tables, and different groups selected for the study can be seen here. With respect to this, the medical institutions clearly showed a variety of features, as a result providing a large heterogeneity that can be seen in diverse contexts from the nation and able to offer services the population which is heterogeneous.
Hypothesis(es) or research question(s)
The study’s research question can be noted here since it is clear and easy to understand. The research question asks the infection control measures which would be employed, the prevention techniques, and the adverse processes associated with the NC in pro-Hosps. The research question has been designed in a way that corresponds with the conceptual framework. This is so because the state pro-Hops have been represented in the theoretical framework. Major variable specifications have also been shown in the study population. The population, in this case, are the patients under the impact of acute events, prevention, and infection control measures.
Research Method(s)
Base on the procedures of the study applied in a population of five groups; there were strategies used that would ensure risk reduction on the study participants used. The safety method was the standard obedience to the epidemiological surveillance, worker vaccination administration, and anti-microbial rational use. The institutions in charge of ethics with regards to participant safety weren’t involved in this study.
Research Design
The design applied in this research coincides with the research hypothesis. Used for this research were a crossectional study design and a quantitative study approach. 37 hospitals authorized the use of their reports, and this made the basis of the secondary data use.
Population and Sample
In this study, the study population was clearly identified and use appropriately to bring the desired outcomes. The selected study population was 45 pro-hosps, and out of these, 37 of the prop-hosps were used, which contributed to 82.2% of the source of data. The 37 prop-Hosps gave the go-ahead for their reports to be accessed so that the required data would be obtained. After this, the study’s sample used was achieved. The data that was obtained from 82.2% of the total study population; hence the data obtained was sufficient.
Data Collection and Measurement
The theoretical and operational definitions coincide with each other. The major variables of the research were operationalized through the use of relevant strategies and enough justification. The study made use of valid instruments, and the reliability was present. This led to accurate results.
Data analysis.
The gathered data was analyzed with the help of the version 19.0 SPSS software. The fact that the statistical data was well presented made the analysis easy. The study was successful because the employed groups used as the basis for comparison were enough. The research equally tried to minimize type 1 and II errors.
Presentation of Findings/Implications
The outcomes of the study were appropriately summarized in the study. Each group’s results were summarized separately, making the findings notable and easy to read. The hypothesis was discussed within the study outcomes, as they could be seen clearly presented in a tabular format.
Conclusion
The non-conformity groups were reflected by the Organizational Quality State. It becomes relevant to manage alongside the directive, health experts, and other hospital professionals, focusing on making them right so that the end of it all, quality improvement can be achieved as dangers and damages that employees are exposed to are minimized. Basically, the research critique has proven that major research aspects have been taken care of for this study, with only a few exceptions.
