Regulatory agencies for The Minte range vary from federal, state, and local enforcers who oversee the organization’s efficiency. The Minte is subject to regulation and control by the state’s police power. Since the entity operates in Chicago and Washington, D.C., it is subject to police power of these two states (Oaten et al., 2015). The states of California and Washington D.C have delegated the responsibility of overseeing and regulating the hotel’s performance to agencies such as the State’s Board of Health and State Hotel. Since The Minte is not a public utility, it is not subject to regulations by the federal service commission. The state agencies have a requirement that The Mint has to apply for a license to operate (Oaten et al., 2015). According to California and Washington D.C regulatory agencies, The Minte has to provide proper accommodations and proper care for the guests’ tranquility and safety. The two states’ regulatory agencies posit that the entity’s clients should refrain from offensive conduct and exercise proper care while outsourcing services.
The Minte is regulated by Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code at the federal government level due to the nature of the services it provides. The Uniform Commercial Code necessitates The Minte to abide by the Constitution’s provisions and not be subject to illegal activities (Sierra et al., 2018). The Minte should ensure compliance with the applicable federal and state laws in all its transactions and dealings. The Minte is also subject to rules and regulations governing the hotel sector, such as safety and environmental pollution prevention. The Minte is expected to comply with the regulatory body in charge of environmental issues and hygiene.
