Since this research discusses a procedure and records of clients on how they are supposed to be treated and how they are supposed to recover quickly, it qualifies to be a case-control study (Downing & Nel, 2018). The study is meaningful to medical practitioners since it enables them to realize the significance of a client association with them. When medical practitioners have a good relationship with patients, it helps a lot since the practitioner will realize the manner in which matters should be approached about patients and their treatment (Leonard & Kyriacos, 2015). The study will assist medical nurses during the process of decision-making on clients, the types of practices they should take in for them to give patients medication that is satisfying by meeting the client’s complete needs. The study will assist them in knowing the direction concerning the manner in which patients are supposed to be taken care of and the better ways in which these treatments can be provided.
A good relationship with others is required in every working context or in a place of residence as it is relevant to understanding, trust, and hence togetherness. A good relationship between clients and the medical practitioners, therefore, will be good for the patient’s health and the care given to them by the caregivers.
Patients tend to have trust in their medical caregivers by believing in what they say is good for their health. Through this, they will strictly follow the directions given by the doctor e.g., taking prescriptions as required, adhering to all the rules that will lead to good health. This way, patients get recovery quickly, and the nurses’ work is also made easy (Leonard & Kyriacos, 2015). Poor understanding and a bad relationship, on the other hand, can make everything go wrong between a patient and the practitioner’s work. Bad relationships make the hospital length of stay longer than expected, lead to slower recoveries, and sometimes even death, especially when the patient fails to follow the guidelines given to them by the doctor. When it comes to this, caregivers may make referrals to other doctors who might be able to come to an understanding with the client.
This study majorly involves making sure that medical nurses have better methods of handling their patients. The study will be useful in ensuring that medical practitioners recognize the impact and function of sources of knowledge that will assist them in making sensible decisions through giving grades to the power of an evidence body that involves consistency, quality, and quantity (Leonard & Kyriacos, 2015). The study will equally be of assistance to medical nurses to observe the quality of care they give to clients. In addition to this, they can recognize the areas which require improvement and focus for intervention. This study will assist them in a scientific method of action-related learning that will enable them to have the ability to handle circumstances the moment they arise.
The knowledge from this study makes the clients understand the exact patient needs. It is easier to deal with a situation when you know what is going on and have the knowledge of how to navigate in it. As such, medical practitioners will, through this research, will know the right kind of medication to give the patients the quality of service to offer to their patients and the attention they need to give the patient (Standing, 2020). At the end of it all, it ensures patient satisfaction and recovery.
In the field of nursing, there comes a time when critical, and big decisions should be made concerning a patient. These decisions might as ell involve life and death situations. If the medical practitioner lacks the knowledge of the discussed content of this research, such decisions might be extremely difficult to make and could lead to poor decision-making at the end. By the end of it, huge damage shall have been done, and probably nothing can be done about it again. These could include loss of a patient life due to poor methods of treatment, such as giving an overdose or giving an inappropriate drug. The research, therefore, acts as a wake-up call to inform medical practitioners that they should be ready for anything within their field of expertise. Being aware of the occurrences before they actually take place will make handling them easy when they come since they won’t bring any surprises out of the unknown.
