About the information provided in the video clip, I would diagnose the client with Narcissistic personality disorder[F60.4].my feeling is that she displays a pattern of many trusts that she is more special and of more decency evident from her behaviors such as; she views herself as more beautiful and charming[she asks the doctor why a person like her with stunning good looks would lack someone to love and marry ] .she also wants to get back attention to her own conversation by despising her manager’s discussion. Moreover, the client displays fantasies of power, success, and attractions[ client talks about 20 years of experience in the film industry. She also discusses her looks as she gestures towards her chest to display a sense of attraction]. It is also seen that the client exaggerated her achievement and talents [; she describes herself as a super artist in theatricality with more than 15 years of experience and is worthy to attain fame and prestige in the media. The client has a high expectation of constant praise and admiration when she says that she left Suzie’s company because she could not gain fame. She is also willing to do extra dramatic actions like driving off a cliff to gain media praise and attention .as a narcissist, she displays arrogance, i.e., she feels more superior than others. She brags that she is always on the right track, and everything good should be paid back to her in return. During the session, the client demonstrates the failure to recognize other people’s feelings and needs; she feels that her ex-boyfriend should love him without focusing on what things caused the heartbreak, .i.e, George’s feelings.
.This outlined symptoms enhance the criterion for my diagnosis. i also concur with students 1and 2 posts on a diagnosis of Histrionic personality behavior, on the notion that. The client is excessively concerned with her personal appearance, a trait that she views it superior.
