Introduction
In this study, concerning Green Hill Hospital, we will go through all the past cases where we will find that changes in the organization would have given a different picture. That is, by bringing change in the organization, which is the output from the employees, we could have had better performance from the organization. In this study, we will also tell about the theories by which every employee can be motivated which will ultimately increase their performance. Using help from the case study that has been provided, we here answered the questions. In this study, we tried to give the theories that are internal and external to the relation of human, with the classic theory of human. Here in this study we also defined the meaning of leadership and the behavior of a true leader. We also discussed the theories related to team management and bringing out the effectiveness of them.
Part A
Answer 1
In this study, we came to realize about a man who came to this hospital to get treatment for his wife. It can be seen, that even for an emergency case, it took a lot of time for the patient to get the proper treatment, which is a very disappointing for the patient as well as for everyone who will be coming next in the future. This problem of the hospital needs quick action before something bad happens for someone. The management department of the hospital has to make some strategy based on which every hospital’s personnel needs to work to make the hospital better. The Human Resource manager needs to take proper steps so that a change can be brought in the facility. Using the digital procedure, the hospital can speed up their processing time, and with the help of HRM practices, many problems in the hospital can be solved. This particular practice needs effort from every personnel, and hence the effectiveness of the hospital will increase. The hospital also needs to give proper training to its employees so that their communication skill can be developed. The hospital also needs a better Human Resource Department, which is in the present, is not so efficient in the development of the hospital. The hospital can also include the online technologies for check in and check out, because it is hassle-free and also reduces lots of time, it also reduces the workforce involved in it. The Human Resource Department should also schedule some training and seminar for every employee of the hospital so that their manner, as well as their behavior, should change towards patients. The modern development of the technology should also be used and simultaneously there uses should also be known to the employee, for which the Human Resource Department should also arrange seminars and training for the employees so that they can adapt the modern technology. The modern technology will also help in providing better treatment to the patient, which was before done with normal instinct, hence increases the performance of the hospital. It has also been observed that due to lack of knowledge, many patients faced problems, for which the employees were unable to answer questions. So for that, proper, timely training needs to be provided, which is being arranged by the Human Resource Department, so again it needs a strong Human Resource Department which will be able to change the current situation of the hospital and also be able to differentiate between the profitable employee, to the non-profitable one. For the Human Resource Department, they can implement the SWOT framework, through which they will be able to see the performance of the hospital, its strength and weaknesses and also the threats for the hospital within one window. Based on this they can adequately manage the organization and bring out effective and efficient work output from the individual level. Hence the performance will depend on reviewing the hospital internally and externally, thoroughly.
Answer 2
From the above-given answer, we can see the very need for a strong Human Resource Department. It has also been observed, that the changes the Human Resource Department will bring, will be from the individual level, which is very important for this particular hospital and which can only be brought by this department. So the role of a strong Human Resource expert will be significant here. His/her work should be to direct the organization in a correct path. As stated by (——-), the performance of the worker is very important, which needs to be regularly checked for a grooming organization. In this case study, we had seen the threats for the organization which has the potential to decrement the organization’s overall performance. The study here had shown the importance of the Human Resource Department which will affect the organization greatly. And to bring out the changes from the individual level, the Human Resource Department will play a major role. The case study also brings outs the importance of Human Resource experts in changing the manner of the organization. By implementing the online facility, the workforce of the hospital can reduce too much extent. In bringing better performance from the organization, the Human Resource Department can introduce many regular changes. As stated by (———), to bring out changes in the company, the Human Resource Department should focus on the problem, which will help the organization in achieving their objectives within given time frame work. The study also revealed the need for strong Human Resource Department, which can help the organization in achieving its targets. The loopholes that were discussed here in this study can be fixed with the help of strong Human Resource Department and which needs to be done quickly.
Answer 3
It has been often seen that the effort of the employee of an organization plays a major role in the development of the company. Effective work output helps the company in achieving the objectives of the company within the given time frame work. To do this, it necessary for the company to keep its employees motivated enough to their job, which will increase the profit of the company. The employees can be motivated either through financial or through non-financially, that will ultimately improve the performance of the employee. It is the work of the management department to look through each of whether they are doing a better job in increasing the output or not. If they are doing a better job, then the management department should provide the employee with bonuses and perks. This step will let them work more effectively in achieving the targets of the company. As state by (————) that, it is one of the jobs for the company in making the employees knowledgeable enough to think positively whenever a new problem arises. With this step, the company will not face a major problem in the future. This adjustment can be made by the company by helping its workers using financial needs. Time to time punishing you can de-motivate them in working well, which will decrease the output of the company. Instead of punishing, try to fining the worker, and that will also create an example for the other employees. Also, try to provide bonuses and perks for their excellent performance. This step will increase the motivation of not one person but the whole company. As stated by (————), time to time punishing the worker will not only de-motivate him/her but the entire company as well, which is not good for the company’s performance. If one worker did better than other employees than you cannot reward everyone, you have to pay the one who did better than everyone, or else it will discourage the employee who did better for the company to do so. So the responsibility of the company should include looking after these steps in of the company as the punishment, as well as a reward given by the company, will have an excellent role for the work output of the company.
Answer 4
Yes, indeed the motivation theories can be applied here which will ultimately motivate the employers and hence a high output can be expected. The strategies that the company will employ will of great help in developing the company. Using the Maslow theory, until the basic needs of the employee are met, the employees will be motivated, and a high output will come. This step can be done by rewarding the employee, who did a better performance than the others. It will also encourage them to do better the next time. As state by (———) rewards should be external and substantial, which will be given to the workers as well as to the people from the management department of the company. These rewards can also be increased in their payments, bonuses or any other financial help that will ultimately help the worker in their basic needs. By doing so, their performance will increase and hence the work output of the company.
The other rewards, that is, the internal reward can be met by the worker only. As stated by (——–) until and unless the worker is satisfied with the organization, that is, how the company looks towards its employees, the performance of the worker will not increase. To give the worker’s job satisfaction, his/her internal needs and requirement should be satisfied. So here, Adam’s equity theory can be applied which makes the company give equal and fair treatments towards their employees of the company.
The behavior of the worker towards the change provided by the management department is of a significant issue. If the workers get adopted towards the decision made by the management department, then the effectiveness of the company will increase.
Part B
In teamwork, people work together collaboratively to achieve a single goal. For an organization, it is very important to work in a group, as it is time to time necessary to work together with the colleagues. Cooperating and giving out a better result is what a major advantage of the team work. But here in the case of green hill hospital, it is not effective with the team work. As stated by (——-) that for a team to work efficiently, it requires a good leader. A major role of the right leader is that it directs the team in the right direction and for this hospital it is necessary. Here, one needs to apply visionary leadership, which can provide foresight in any problems will be faced by the company in the future, then other any leadership type. Based on the foresight, certain majors can be taken by the Human Resource Department to avoid upcoming problems. So we will be considering the leadership style in our diagnosis.
Figure 1: Kubler ross model
To able to produce work efficiently from the team, it needs to communicate regularly with the team; every worker has a different idea about a certain problem also they acquire certain different skills to overcome it. So by talking to them, you can even come up with a different out of the box approach to overcome the problem. Sensibly handing every member of the team is of great importance, as you may hurt the feeling of the other team member. Every member will be working in their speed, and with their idea, so the main output of the project needs to see rather not how they approach the problem. Also, the best part of working in a team is that any problem can be solved by the team when they work together and it is the main part of the team.
With the help of the Johari window, the company can be able to understand its nature towards each employee. Through this process, the team can work effectively and also builds the team stronger.

Part C1
From the case study, we get to know that the HRM practice was not so effective enough for the hospital. It also needs to have an effective Human resource department, which will take a strategy for the existing problem. Due to freely working of the HRM department, the impact was faced by every patient that was there, and the organization was not organized.
These inner problems are great in the sense that it can hinder the profit of an organization to a great extent. Due to the development of the modern world, day by day, it also requires the company to adapt to the change in society as the modern problem needs the modern solution.
So concerning Green Hill Hospital, the Human resource department will help in achieving the goal of the hospital. It will arrange proper training and seminar for every employee so that they can get the proper knowledge about modern technology and equipment. They will also forecast any problem and also bring out a strategy to overcome it. Using the SWOT analysis, they will also bring out the strengths and weaknesses of the company. Using this analysis, they will also be able to avoid any future problems or can use reference of previous problems to solve any other problem.
Part C2: Kotter’s 8 step change model
In this project, we have considered the Kotter’s 8 step change model about the Green Hill Hospital. In this Kotter’s 8 step change model, the first step includes in identifying the threats that can harm the company in the future. The second step includes the management department to take a step in changing the current status of the company. It also includes the department to convince the other employees about the change that needs to be taken. As stated by the (——), the department has to work together for the change. The third stage includes creating a vision for everyone to see the future of the company. When they will be provided with the vision for the company they can work efficiently for the company. The forth step includes convincing the step to the other employees of the company. The fifth step includes removing every obstacle that is to be coming on the company. The strategy for the problem should be devised beforehand by the management department. The sixth step includes achieving smaller obstacles. After completing one small obstacle, it should move towards another. It will help the company in tasting a smaller victory, and with each victory, goals will be completed. This step also encourages the employee and also motivates them to do better than before. The seventh stage includes that not to become overconfident about the smaller goals, as due to overconfident, many company losses its chance to develop. The last stage includes to bring out the change to every sector of the company so that throughout the company the changes can be implemented.
Concerning the Green Hill Hospital, the existing processes need to be changed. So the Kotter’s model is best suited for this hospital. To shorten the Kotter’s model in a two-step, then the first step should be to make a state of urgency for a problem and the second step should be to take proper steps to overcome it.
Part D

In this critical type of leadership, we will see that contribution from the workers is needed to apply it. The leader here mainly focuses on the actions of its team mates towards the project.
Conclusion
Using the methods of the Johari window, a team can effectively work with each other. Using their skills and giving out the comments for each work, their performance will increase. This method also helps the company for better work output. In this project, we also saw the need for Human Resource experts that can implement the backbone of the company. In this project, we also discussed the work of the Human Resource Department to bring a change from the individual level. In this project, we also saw that among many other leadership styles, which one is better in achieving the aim of the company. In this project, we also had seen that without bringing change by the management department, the company could not proceed in achieving its goal. So management department has to up with a strategy to overcome the current problems and also to foresight the coming problems.
