Math anxiety is a common disorder among students, especially the ones who feel that they are not likely to perform well in that subject.  Over the years, several myths have been made relating to math disorder. However, the common ones are the aptitude that the ability to be good in math is inborn. As such, most of the detents who cannot perform s simple math text will assume that since they were not born with that ability, they should not put effort. Some students are very good at math that they do not even need to revise it that much. Such students might end up lying to others that their math abilities are inborn as well, leading to discouraging other students who are poor in that subject.

Another myth is that math requires some form of technic for the student to handle them. Unlike most subjects, people assume that math is very complicated, resulting in them developing math anxiety discover. In most cases, it will also entail the student trying to develop certain types of illness when they are given simple math to solve. It can even get worse when the student graduates to another level of education. The students might feel a lot of pressure for him/her to complete math resulting in that math anxiety taking into shape. It will be critical to help teachers understand that math anxiety is real, and they should be mindful of how they address these students than teaching those subjects. For students who have developed that anxiety disorder, they need to seek medical help from psychologists. The situation might get worse in the future when it is not addressed. The person might end up developing more complications that might even affect his/her general results. Reports show that students who have math anxiety are not likely to perform well in other subjects. This is because their self-esteem would have been lower, making them believe that they are not good enough. They might end up not reading or raising other subjects based on the issue of math anxiety.

Another way to helping students it math anxiety is to make them feel that they are appreciated. Such students should understand that perfuming poor in math is not the end of the world. There is no cure for math disorder, but new measures show that such people can be hoped through therapy. It is more of making them to understand that as much as math is a good subject, they should not put more pressure on themselves. Also, they are advised that they should not focus on the myths surrounding math anxiety.
