Understaffed or Inexperience
One of the marketing problems experienced in my company is inexperience or understaffed (Eneix, 2019). This has been the result of the marketing field, continuing to grow and becoming more sophisticated and comprising more to track. While my corporation starts with what it looks a perfect marketing staff, the challenges appear when there is a lack of capability or knowledge. Usually, this leads to poor performance and sub-par marketing strategies. Also, my company faces a lack of practical experience in my catering team, which results in low profits in the hotel. The lack of knowledge in some of my employees, such as chefs pose a marketing problem whereby they cannot conduct appropriate advertising of food products to attract many consumers.
How I Would Research Solutions
I would research solutions by taking a close look at my current catering group and observe what developments may be made. I would also examine to what extent my team is incapable of doing perfect marketing in my company. This will enable us to make sure that there is a catering team around inexperienced employees who comprehend marketing approaches and know-how to deliver and even use technical knowledge to generate the outcomes. The unskilled squad requires an advisor and a work team of capable people who understand their trade.
I would also research as a solution by finding a capable marketing team to come to my company and assist my chefs in working toward the company’s marketing vision. This will help my team to be able to drive the company towards accomplishing the set goals. An overall inadequacy understanding of the inbound marketing exercises may be suggestive of the need to link with an inbound advertising agency. Thus, I would ensure good inbound agencies in my hotel to develop a comprehensive strategy to reach the company’s marketing objectives. I would also research solutions by observing the specified teams that partners in my company to generate content, track outcomes, and create traffic, lead, and sales. This enables me to comprehend the solutions that are relevant to my teams. The inbound marketing agency may ensure that teamwork within the marketing schedule and function as the strategic advisor. Additionally, it would ensure that my team keeps the company’s clients involved in the marketing process.
How I Would Best Implement Corrective Action
I would best implement the correct action to the inexperienced staff is training my catering team. Training chefs will be intended to help them to be successful in the marketing company’s products. When a chef makes poor performance needs to be trained and warned them against delivering poor quality services.
I will also call the catering team and discuss with them to address the inexperience issues and inform them that whoever who will not fulfill the hotel’s demands will be sacked. I would train understaffed chefs to comprehend the marketing strategies, which will enable them to work appropriately. Once my team learns and acquires the required knowledge, they will make my hotel able to achieve continual improvement.
How Would I assess whether Corrective Action Was Successful?
I would evaluate whether the corrective action implementation was effective by reviewing the data over a predetermined timeframe to determine if the issues have occurred again after the correction action was implemented. If no problems or deviations are happening in the organization, thus the implementation of the corrective action will be successful. I would also take my first-hand observation to assess if the corrective action was successful and help employees gain the relevant skills.
