Lollipop Moment
I had my lollipop moment last month while working at a certain burger shop. A certain man came to the burger shop with his friend and immediately identified me. The man told me that I had spoken to him before his procurement interview a few months ago, and the little chat we had made him less anxious; thereby taking part in the interview and securing the job. I did not remember this moment until he recapped it to me.
Dear Mr. Tevin,
It is with much pleasure writing you this letter. I hope you will receive it with much love. I am writing to you mainly to thank you for reminding me that I can positively impact a stranger’s life. If it were not for you, I would have never remembered anything like that. I hope that everything we talked about that day before your interview greatly impacted your career. Thank you once again.
Importance of using email:
I chose email delivery because it is a great way to communicate with friends and deliver private transactional messages. I love email and use it every day because I like replying to messages immediately after receiving them. Further, as compared to letters, email delivery is fast because it is just seconds. Additionally, it does not matter where an individual comes from because emails can be sent to any computer or phone with internet access worldwide.
Actually, Tevin was delighted to receive my letter, and his reply was amazing. He could not hide how I made him believe in himself to be a part of the interview, which he was not ready for. In his reply, he stated that he will always consult me whenever facing challenges.
This assignment concept made me feel that I can make a difference in someone’s life, no matter what career they are doing. Even though I sometimes felt as if I was under pressure, I had changed Tevin’s life.
I hope to have a lifetime friendship with Tevin because he seemed to be a good person. Moreover, with Tevin, we will achieve great milestones in our career paths because we will save each other while trouble arises.
