Dar Alshifaa is a private Hospital, and throughout the years we have strived to make sure that we provide the best care for our patients. In order to do this, we make sure that we have followed the practitioners’ guidelines so that we deliver the best services. Recently the health sector was faced with a new challenge, the COVID-19 because no one understood the nature of the disease. However, through continued updates from the World Health Organization, we have made conversant with what is required to control the spread of the virus and how we can cater to infected patients. To do this, we have dedicated a team of researchers in our hospitals to research more about the virus and luckily get a vaccination for the virus.
COVID-19 is a pulmonary infection that is caused by a coronavirus. The virus is spread when someone gets into contact with the virus. therefore people are encouraged to a safe distance so that they prevent the spread of the virus. the people that are infected are also isolated from others that are not infected. The main symptoms of the infections include dry cough, fever, and loss of taste, and this is because of the disease affecting the lungs. Through the months, we have observed the number of COVID-19 cases rise and some death and recoveries have been recorded. From the data collected, we have noted that the virus is rampant in older people as compared to young people. the difference has been caused by the strength of the immune system. The virus spread has been controlled by the government through lockdowns and curfews and this has been observed all over the world. We have observed continued efforts by different organizations and individuals through the providence of masks and testing kits. Through the testing kids we have received, we have been able to test as many people as possible and this has ensured those that are not infected are safe.
Mr. Cavalli was recently admitted to our hospital and we are writing to inform you that he has contracted COVID-19. From the hospital records, you are named the next of kin and this is why we are writing to you. When he came in he was in a good condition but as the days have gone his health has been changing day in day out. Through close examination, we have realized that Mr.Cavalli had a kidney problem that was not diagnosed and this has highly contributed to the condition. the medical practitioners in the hospital are doing the best they can to make him stable.
