Jack’s Speech on Change Implementation
Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is my pleasure to be speaking to you at this moment as your General Manager. I am the newly appointed general manager for the pet food division of Strickland Corporation since Last Month for those who are not familiar with me. I assumed office a week ago, and I am very passionate about working with you to take this company to its next level of success.
Today, I am standing here to let you know of our department’s progress and the required potential changes that you may experience over the next few months. Since I assumed office, I have been taken through this company’s documented progress for the last three years. After a keen evaluation of the progress and consultation with the administration team, I am convinced that the pet food division of Strickland Corporation requires some changes. The financials for the past three fiscal years indicate a downward trend, which might result in more detrimental effects to the department and the entire organization if not well taken care of.
Following the consultation with the administration team, we have decided to impact some changes that will be effective at the beginning of next month. We hope that the changes will not affect anyone negatively since they aim to counter competition that has proven to be very stiff.
The management team cannot implement changes and even promote success for this organization without your corporation. It is for this reason that we have decided to involve you in the process. Since there is a need for better interaction with the changes, I will not let you know about them now. This meeting is just a briefing. We have scheduled meetings when you will interact with your supervisors to discuss the changes and how they affect everyone, and how we will achieve them. Later today, I will release a memo to all the employees that will include the expected changes.
Thank you for your cooperation, and I look forward to achieving the best for this company with your support.
