The most appropriate devices that I can use to access my online classroom at Ashford university include a smartphone, tablet, personal computer, and desktops from the school library. The devices allow access to the student portal and classroom through Canvas at any time. Apart from granting access, my laptop enables me to store important information about classroom work. Moreover, it is essential and effective in handling class assignments. For instance, it is linked to Grammarly’s crucial tools that are important in maintaining high standards of assignments. Turnitin tool is more important in maintaining integrity during studies, discussions, and responses. Linking these tools on my phone may not be appropriate since the smartphone is endorsed with little memory. However, in the case inconveniences arise while using my laptop, the tablet and smartphone may serve a more significant part of the activity. The laptop screen is bigger enough and enhances the visibility of characters, thus reducing errors during assignments and examination sessions. On the other hand, I enjoy using library desktops since they have full-time access to the internet, and they are close to scholarly books, which I may refer to in case of doubt. However, the lack of privacy is a significant problem in the use of library desktops. Therefore, it is not favorable for assignments that take a long time to complete since someone else may get into the computer and mess up with my document in progress. Therefore, I choose a laptop as the most effective device to aces my online classroom and handle assignments and examinations effectively. It also gives me the privilege to enjoy privacy and freedom of mobility while effectively participating in classroom activities.

Fash drive and hard drive storage to categories of data storage. Using a flash drive comes with several advantages: long life span, portability, speed in transfer, and smaller size. However, as compared to the hard drive, it is less effective when it comes to storage capacity since it can only hold up to 128GB of data. Therefore, hard drive storage is useful for the storage of large volumes of data that exceed 128gb volume. This is a non-volatile data storage device that is installed into the internal part of the computer so that it can store data. One disadvantage of using hard drive storage is that it is not portable since it is inbuilt within the laptop. This renders it inconvenient to store data that needs to be carried around every time. Generally, determining which storage to use majorly depends on the amount of that one needs. Conclusively, I choose to use hard drive storage for my personal plan tomorrow nice and save my digital information and Resources that are important for my online classroom. This is because classroom work may be of large volumes and may not fit be stored in a flash drive.

My primary strength in this digital era is that I am fluent in technology. I have a variety of skills that enable me to look for information on several technical devices without assistance. I can also perform different computer activities effectively. Some of the skills include programming languages, software proficiency, data analysis, technical writing, project management, and standard operating systems. These are specialized skills that are essential for all technical operations that incorporate technology. However, I have little knowledge of the hardware components of computers and other technological devices. Whenever there is a hardware problem with my laptop, I spend a lot of money hiring someone to help. This may be inconvenient in times of urgency. Therefore, taking a class on repairing and cleaning the hardware parts of computers and other devices would do me more good in the future.
