The public charge rule, majorly, occurs to foreigners in need of several various visas in the United States. Technically, it involves tourists, guests’ workers, students, and temporary visitors. The rule elaborates on the historical results in-depth on immigrants not receiving status in the United States based on a bureaucrat’s suspicions that they use welfare. The law is fundamentally distorted and directly negatively impacts the taxpayers by segregating Americans from family members[1]. Besides, the rule prohibits the immigrants from receiving legal status in the United States based on a bureaucrat’s projection that they might become dependent on the government in the coming days. However, this might indirectly affect some immigrants from bidding for their security measures.
Stone implied that on the disability program, where the beneficial strategy was all well elaborated and directives towards certifications and the determining factors. However, the persons’ certification and determination of benefitting from the disability insurance program are accompanied by various problems. The medical officers instantly face technical issues because they have lost credibility with policymakers due to political and economic problems[2]. Also, arguments were raised on how the insurance program was being socialized. The government would be required to employ more employees to carry out examinations on the persons enrolled in the policy program.
I don’t entirely agree that frequent re-certification of people with disability policy will burden the administration because it will negatively impact the beneficiaries if they withdrew. Also, regular re-certification will help do valuations on the persons in much need of the State benefits[3]. As the beneficiaries basically involved the less fortunate in the society, the disabled, widows hence withdrawing the benefits will affect them entirely. Therefore, the government ought to put measures across to manage the program.
