Cardiovascular disorder encompasses the conditions that affect the structures or the functions of a person’s heart. These diseases are the leading causes of death in the United States. They exist in different types as a result of various courses. Some are the abnormal heart rhythms, which occurs when a person’s heart gets out of the normal rhythm. This is mostly referred to as arrhythmia since it brings along an uneven heartbeat, which is either too slow or too fast. A person experiencing this difficulty is advised to visit the doctor regularly. The Aorta disease and Marfan syndrome result from widening or tearing up. Patients with this disorder get high blood pressure. There is a hardening of the arteritis and connective tissue disorder, which weaken the blood vessels. As a result, the treatment of this disorder requires a team of specialists and surgeons.
Additionally, cardiomyopathy is a disorder affecting the heart muscles. It is referred to as the enlargement of the heart. People with this type of disorder are displayed to being big, thick, or stiff. This is because their hears do not have the ability to pump blood as they are supposed to do. Sometimes, cardiomyopathy runs through families but can also be a result of high blood pressure, obesity, infections, or metabolic diseases. Its treatment option is to visit a doctor on a scheduled, regular basis. Heart valve disease is experienced when there is a problem in pumping blood flowing in the heart through the chambers (WebMD, 2019). For instance, acrostic stenosis encompasses when the aortic valve narrows down. It slows the blood, which flows from an individual’s heart to the rest of the body. Mitral valve prolapse occurs when the left upper and left lower chamber’s do not close right. Therefore, the treatment of this disorder required access to surgery.
Generally, the treatment of cardiovascular disorder differs according to the types of conditions experienced by an individual. Some include medications that mainly treat the disorder with characteristics such as high blood pressure. Other patients are forced into changing their lifestyles. For instance, their daily diet, tobacco usage, and frequent exercise. Also, another disorder requires medical procedures such as the placement of the stent in the blood vessels. The doctors will achieve this by conducting surgery.
Coagulation disorder has its own side effects, contradictions, and precautions. Some of the side effects and contradictions include sudden numbness on one side of the body. Severe headaches are confusing, having vision, speech, and balance difficult. Also, the patient can experience pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs (Fischbach et al., 2018). A feeling of passing out or experiencing bleeding that never stops. The precaution of the individual needs to go for a physical check-up every year. The check-up conducted will cover the joints, bones, and muscles. Going for blood tests according to the doctor’s suggestion. These may include a test of the factor level required, check of the inhibitors, complete blood count, immune system check, among many more. Also, their precautions that a person can do on their own include always treating the bleeding quickly and exercise at least three times a week. Brush and floss the patient’s teeth at least once a day, eat healthy foods regularly, and get a good night’s sleep. The patient is also advised to reordering other medications before he or she runs out.
