GENDER INEQUALITY
This refers to the uneven rights between man and a woman basing on different gender roles, which leads to unequal opportunities in life. Males tend to enjoy more privileges than women. Throughout time, gender norms constrain women and men’s behavior where ladies are expected to do chores and have kids while men are supposed to do the manual work, which causes this inequality. Moreover, on most occasions, gender has been a key factor of social and economic stratification and, as a result, exclusion. Some of the issues fuelling gender inequality are: occupational gap segregation, unequal pay yet women are more educated than, sexual harassments especially in workplaces where women are forced to do unethical things to please their bosses, racism mostly in western countries, women are promoted less often than men, to mention but a few.
It is in these actions, many females across the globe have risen to fight against this injustice, and as a consequence, they have created new; organizations and campaigns, improving nutrition, the election of female leaders and government representatives, enact laws protecting the girl child, providing scholarships to unprivileged girls.
Also, the government should take initiatives to check the correct and proper implementations of policies.
