This section presents information related to the background of respondents. It represents statistical findings on respondents’ current job title, the period of service, distribution of survey respondents with respect to their gender, educational qualifications and age. It also presents statistical information on the number of employees in the enterprise, the number of years the enterprise has operated, and the varieties of animal feeds the enterprise manufactures.
4.2.1 Firm which the respondent worked with.
Survey respondents were required to indicate the firm they worked with whereby the results show that the respondents worked with 1 firm.
4.2.2 Current Job Title
Survey respondents involved were required to disclose their job position. The findings show that each respondent held one of the following job titles; director, procurement manager, general manager, sales manager, operational manager, accountant. All these were competent to fill in the questionnaires submitted.
4.2.3 Period of service with the current enterprise
Respondents were required to indicate the time period that they had worked with the enterprise. It was evidenced that most of the respondents served for a period exceeding 4 years while the least had served the enterprise for less than 2 years. These findings clearly indicated that survey respondents had vast knowledge in the operations of their enterprise hence they were in a position to give quality information on the study inquest.
4.2.4 Distribution of survey respondents in terms of Gender
Statistical findings presented in table 4.2 relate to respondents in terms of gender category.

4.2.5 Distribution of survey respondents in terms of Age Groups
Different age groups generally hold dissimilar opinions and in order to gather diverse opinions, respondents were required to specify their age group.

From the findings presented in table 4.4 above, it’s clear that majority of the respondents (46.7%) were aged between 25 to 35 years, 36% of the respondents were aged between 35 to 45 years, 6.6% of the respondents were aged above 45 years and 10.7% of the respondents were aged below 25 years. This indicates a normal distribution.
