Dayton, TN, is a Rhea County city of the United States of America. It is mostly formed of urban clusters that include developed areas that extend to the south of Graysville. It is mainly known for being the scope trial site while dealing with the creation-evolution controversy in 1925. Geographically, the state is located 35°30′N 85°1′W with a total area of 17km2. It encounters a humid subtropical climate with four different seasons across the year.
The state economy
The state of Dayton is a small manufacturing area that specializes in clothing, furniture, and automobile parts. Some big brands with that domicile are La-Z-Boy and suburban manufacturing, international automotive components, and Robinson manufacturing. Other economic activities are real estate development along the lake Chickamauga.

If you visit, there are various activities that you can participate in actively. You can visit public parks like point parks, swinging bridge parks, and municipal parks that offer endless recreational opportunities. The city also celebrates the Tennessee annual strawberry festival in May that attracts many people.
Governance
Rhea County is under the leadership of a county commissioner whose office serves as the primary governance form. Currently, George Thacker is the head of the executive in charge of the state administration. The state commission is also served by elected nine officials, each with a specific area of representation. Each of the representatives, including the county mayor, is elected on a renewable term of four years based on their performances.
Education
Most of the rhea county student attends the county-administered public schools. The education system has three elementary schools. Dayton is also a home for Bryan College, a Christian-based Liberal Arts College honoring Jennings Bryan. Chattanooga state college also offers varieties of selected courses downtown. There is also a city school, a public school that provides free education to residents under the administration of Rhea County.
Historical sites
Chickamauga and Watts Bar Lakes– are reservoirs that attract millions of enthusiasts who love outdoor activities. The two have scenic overlooks and panoramic views for visitors and residents. Other than providing power, they are also a source of livelihood for farmers and fishers.
Trail of tears is a famous national trail that memorizes Cherokee’s removal and marks the paths that Cherokee detachments used eastwards. The trail includes approximately 2200 miles of water and land routes that were covered.
Blythe, ferry– is one of the few remaining ferries established by Blythe and his eastern Tennessee River family in 1809. It is among the registered historic site by the state.
