Evidence-Based
Evidence-based practice is an advancement of research evidence clinical expertise, and patients prefer how they approach a problem when it occurs. The clinical practice initiates the nurses to give guidance to the patients individually. The introduction of EBP has encouraged the nurses to be innovative in their work and find new ways to solve issues that will be most compatible and convenient (Grove & Gray 2018). One of the evidence-based practices that are most essential is that the nurses have started counseling the patients before they undergo surgeries. This is one of the most significant achievements the Evidence-Based Practice nurses have enrolled in. This type of innovation usually helps the patients to be less nervous when undergoing surgery. The nurses usually brief the patient on the effects of the surgery after they undergo surgery, what they should experience, and the immediate results when in the surgery room.
During this awareness created by the nurses, some usually teach the patients how to take their medicines after they undergo surgery and talk to the patients about the cause of their failure. The nurses typically do this by using charts to make sure that the patients understand what they are being told about. Also, the nurses usually try to engage their patients in their conversation by asking them questions regarding their body issues (Grove & Gray 2018). When this is happening, the nurses are usually very friendly to ensure that the patients are comfortable and that they will be open to anything they are asked concerning their health. This is an improvement in the health sector since the nurses have improved in attending to their patients. If the nurses and the patients have a language barrier the nurse tries to have a translator so that they can engage themselves in a productive awareness. These awareness created may make some patients very nervous and they might opt not to undergo their surgery sessions due to fear they have gained.
