- Are you behind schedule? If so, this is a good time to catch up!
Yes, I got a little behind schedule because of my work, which is quite involving; for example, I have to help my daughter with her homework, prepare dinner on time, walk my dogs for the toilet time, and then do my assignments since I have two courses that are running concurrently. This is not the only course that is behind in schedule, and when it comes due closer to, I usually have to stay up late in the night to ensure that I finish before due time. This, I know, sounds so stressful for me. In the meantime, I am almost catching up with this course schedule time with a lot of positive progress made on the lesson’s backlogs. The only slight challenge that I have is in the mylabits.com, but I am learning day by day to improve my grades even though it is killing my time since it requires a lot of time to comprehend and internalize.
- What does it mean when you see #### in an Excel cell?
When the excel spreadsheet has such an object, it is a sign that the column is smaller than it cannot display it. This also happens when the cells are formatted to display different information from what you want the spreadsheet to show, and this happens in all the excel versions. Excel allows the users to manage the option to create a layout that aligns well with your needs. When spreadsheet cells are very narrow, you can resize it and if it has numbers it will displays #### too narrow, and it usually happens only if it is to the left of another cell that has the content. It is also bound to occur if a number is copied into a too narrow cell to display the number. Number signs may appear on the cell, but excel defines the cell’s real value and shows it in the spreadsheet’s formula bar.
In the case of many cells in the spreadsheet containing number signs, click on them individually, note their values in that same bar, and then hold the cell’s cursor to show pop up a tooltip showing real number value cells. To do away with the problem, click the column right edge in the header area, then hold down the left button mouse and drag the cursor to the right edge until the cells’ numbers show again. Consequently, you can select the cells you want to resize, click on the home button, click on the ribbon FORMAT table, and then click on the AUTO FIT column width menu option. The excel will definitely resize such that their content will fit correctly within them. The number of signs will show up again. When the problem occurs again, type the regular texts inside the cells since excel does not replace texts with number signs. Numbers signs are usually not visible when a large number is typed into a narrow cell since it widens the cells to fit the value. Still, the number of signs only appear if copy-paste a large number from another cell or in the process, you make an existing cell smaller. Number signs can also appear if the cell contains a formula that generates negative numbers.
