Introduction
Poem 1- Saturday Morning Routine, Page 17
The poem is narrated by a child who observes the mother as she cooks breakfast. The mother pours flour direct from the bag and milk from the carton without measuring as the mother knows the quantity required. The child`s job was to clean up, wipe everything and leave a counter pristine after cooking as it was never much involved in cooking and this will leave the mother to take breakfast in her calm nerves. The author has the character of attempting to compose things but cannot belive by removing all the facts. This paper evaluates Saturday morning routine and an inquiry poem identifying their structure, skills, and enquiry questions and their answers.
Structure and Skill
The structure of this poem is a tercet because the poetry is divided into groups of three lines separating from each other by a skipped line. The poetry is a narrative as it focuses mostly on the storytelling and also has the individuals with habits to perform the tale action. Repetition is observed in the first stanza the straight from is repeated in the first and second line of the first stanza. Assonance is also seen as skill applied in the poetry.
Enduring Questions and Answers
The answer to enduring questions is neither yes nor no. The author has the character of trying to invent for things he cannot understand? And the answer is by discarding all the evidence.
Poem 2-An Inquiry Page 23
The poem is about a mother who moved to the country covered inside her reflection. The mother crossed the ocean leaving one pocket of the world for another. She continues to grip her tongue across two coasts. The author asks questions that have no answers. The ends with the author wanting to ask her the number of layers to fear that can no longer be seen.
Structure and Skills
The poetry is descriptive because it has mostly used a lot of depth imagery to define the world around it. There is an expression of superior emotional content and a poetic voice that is single. The structure of the poet is elegy because it is mourning the dead. There is also the application of the skill of rhythm, which consists of sound categorizing. An example is she crossed an ocean.
Enduring Questions and Answers

Is there any probability of forgetting what the dust in like stomach taste breaking apart? The answer is that there is no connection between stomach taste collapsing and failing the dust.
The thematic statement is one or two complete sentences expressing a theme. My thematic statement from the counting descent poetry is; increased love for family leads to one considering family first. The author shows his love of the family by giving detailed information about how family there is family generation from the marriage of grandfather to the birth of his brother. The theme is family first as it is assumed that the author is from the family that members often discuss family activities or cannot be involved in specific events because of family issues.
Conclusion
In summary, there is an analysis of the poems of the enquiry and Saturday morning routine poems that have found the different structures and skills. The assessment identified that the poetry of Saturday morning was narrative, and an inquiry poetry is a descriptive poem. Other gifts have also been examined in the poem, such as repetition, assonance, and rhythm. Also, there is enduring questions and their answers. Thematic statement for my favourite poem is discussed, as shown above.
