The group American Airline reported its 2020 financial result which included, the net loss of its first-quarter which its value was $2.2 billion, which is equivalent ($5.26 per single share), not including the special items, the net loss of the first quarter is $1.1 billion.

The quarter which is considered ended with sum of $6.8 billion of the liquidity available and targeted the quarter that followed to end with $11 billion that is liquidity.

Unlike other times, the airline never faced such a challenge, as the CEO Doug Parker said. The airline has tried its best to take care of its customers during such dire times (Zhou et al., 2020). Parker also said that the company is happy for $5.8 billion in assistance financially.
