I’m afraid I have to disagree that the dark side trait can derail a career because, according to Thomas evidence,  the upside of being skeptical can make you hard to be a fool, while the downside can make you mistrustful. The upside of being imaginative, according to Thomas, can make one more creative and of vision, and the downside can make to be of zany ideas. The zany ideas can be important in brainstorming and creative advertising, and being mistrusted can be useful in preparing legal contracts; therefore, dark side traits cannot derail a career. Personality cannot be fixed because it is inherited, and it is stable. For example, those who are shy might wish to be more talkative, or those who are high tempered might wish to be silent during emotional changes, but they can’t because they are inherited.
