Differences between cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)   Cannabidiol ( CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol are the two major naturally occurring cannabinoids in the Cannabis Sativa plant, mainly called Cannabis Cannabinoid receptors found in the human body interact with both of these substances, but their effects differ dramatically. CBD will not get the user high, i.e., it is nonpsychoactive. CBD appears more frequently than THC in natural supplements and dietary because of this trait. CBD is an intoxicant, unlike THC; that is why most individuals prefer to use CBD for pain relief. CBD can block some of the intoxicating effects of THC. It will keep THC from activating cannabinoid receptors by binding on these receptors ( Perry et al. 2018). This results in a reduced severe psychoactive effect. For this reason, a mix of THC and CBD is suitable for first-time consumers. Conditions which CBD is known to help Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS) Epilepsy Broken Bones Multiple Sclerosis(MS) Depression ADHD Heart Disease Psoriasis Anxiety Mad Cow Disease Pain(neuropathic, chronic, cancer-related, etc.) Inflammation Acne Dyskinesia Schizophrenia Bacterial Infections Diabetes Nausea Substance Abuse/Withdrawal Parkinson’s…

Traffic Laws Enforcement of traffic laws has been one of the major causes of trouble for the people of Courtelaney Pass. The intersection cameras violets people’s constitutional rights but the police chief insist on maintaining them for the purpose of collecting revenues. Unnecessary high amount of revenue is collected from fines assessed from traffic infractions recorded by the cameras. There is also the selective enforcement of the law; the Blacks are ticketed twice as much as whites for intersection violations. Eighty-seven percent of blacks and passerby vehicles receive the majority of these vehicular infractions. The second is Ticket quotas- Every police officer was required to offer at least 12 citations per shift and 87% of those issued with the tickets were blacks and out of town travelers. This is a problem because it offers a ground for the officers to fine people unnecessarily in order to reach the target. The third issue is hiring biases. The police chief only considers hiring white people which makes the department 94% white. The few people from the minority being hired are working only…

The Underground Man Question 1-UndergroundMan’s Insanity The Underground Man begins this book by telling us that he is sick and spiteful.  He realizes that he is sick and should go to the doctor to get treatment, but he refuses to go out of spite. The Underground Man is very stubborn, and we realize he has been sick since he was 20.  He has been living with the disease for 20 years as he is now 40.  He even says, “My liver is bad, well then- let it get even worse!” (Dostoevsky p.3)  He then explains how he was a spiteful official and took pleasure in arguing with petitioners. Question 2- How the Underground Man Is Affected By St. Petersburg No one in St. Petersburg, not even his former colleagues, stops enjoying the pleasures in life to pity the Underground Man for a lifestyle he has chosen.   The Unification of China under Qin Shi Huang Introduction Over four decades, China had been considered to be in absolute turmoil. The dynasty of Zhou has collapsed significantly because it could no longer sustain the societal order. When most states were warring, over 500 years of trouble tended to consume China’s political landscape (Chen 14). None of the warlords was able to gain any acknowledgeable control over the rest of China, and they could not recover the perception of the population that Heaven was actually on the side of a real leader. It is no doubt that many of the leaders at the time tries to unify China. However, for decades, the Qin state leader had observed the underlying weaknesses, and he realized that poverty was a blessing since it enabled the population to focus on enhancing the Confucius values (Masláková 119). This made the Qin more powerful compared to other states within China and thus avoided unnecessary destructions, thus making the Qin consolidate their rule in the Northern part of China under the rule of Qin Shi as…

cell phone manufacturer In the past, a cell phone manufacturer was losing sales in the Philippines since competitors offer offered a better, lower price. It sold most of its phones in wealthier countries; important future markets were ignored because demand was lower in less wealthy countries. Also, competitors were underpricing in these future markets and were selling more. The company considered charging a lower price to generate more sales. The cell phone manufacturer reduced prices in the Philippines, where the phones used the same standards as higher-priced European phones. Therefore, arbitrage threatened sales in other countries, and to prevent this, the company sold models with SIM locks that allow calls only in the operator’s local network. A volume discount is an economic incentive to encourage individuals or businesses to purchase goods in multiple units or large quantities. The seller or manufacturer rewards that buying in bulk by providing a reduced price for each good or group of goods. Volume discounts allow businesses to purchase additional inventory at reduced cost and allow sellers or manufacturers to reduce inventories by selling more units to…

Student’s Name Institution Affiliation Instructor’s Name Due date   Prison executioners Prison executioners deal with emotional, physical, and mental damages due to the job they undertake. Many of them have left the work simply because they cannot manage it, while others hurt themselves or their loved ones due to the job’s mental trauma.
