5.2 CONCLUSION The study has confirmed that domestic violence is a significant problem in Kenya. The presence of multiple laws does not guarantee to alleviate the menace that women, men, and children face within their homes. Members of the community also share part of the blame by challenging the implementation of domestic violence that men, women, and children are facing. Where the relevant laws are not enforced, it gives no relief to citizens. Prevention services should aim to improve access to education, health, and social services and reduce poverty and gender inequalities.
