With health complications brought about by delayed treatment, James’s quality of life has reduced significantly since he will most likely spend his entire life on dialysis and other medical challenges that come with a kidney transplant. Samuel, with parent consent, could donate a kidney to his brother James. While this could have saved James’ life, Samuel most probably will also experience health complications in the future because he has one kidney to serve him the whole life. The entire family will be traumatized, and they will not have a quality life in the event James does not survive through dialysis and succumbs to kindly failure.
