Discussion Responses                 Student’s Name: Course, Department: Institution: Date:                         I agree with the first post. The main discussion point is how an individual’s constitutional rights are usually violated when arrested or in detention under police custody. Suspects who have been arrested or are under police custody most often don’t understand and know how their rights are vital for them in the case. Only those with the representation of a lawyer usually get to exercise their constitutional rights while under custody. Another important to note is that the legal assistance in different jurisdictions has legal provisions that differ considerably, influencing how individuals practice their rights under control (Hodgson 2016). In response to the second post, I concur that persons who have been arrested cannot be held under custody for an unreasonable amount of time. Usually, there is a specified period with which the state has to charge them or release them. There are several factors which…

Trading Conflicts and Lawsuits. Students Name: Professors Name: Date.     If you were the defendant in the case, how would you have changed the facts in order to escape liability? I was the defendant in the case in would have change the terms of informal agreement since they were not documented. Since the only evidence document that was available on the said trademark informal agreement was the letter from pro Golf I would said the content of the letter were not part of our trading conditions and agreement whatsoever (Justia, 1975). Secondly I would change the facts by referring to our company’s trading policies that curtails any indulgent of external company to partner with us in business without legal and formal agreement for effective partnership. I could have also changed the facts that FFA trading polices allows multiple sublicensing of other companies for effective trade and business productivity to be achieved and there it was rightful to engage Teito (Justia, 1975). Besides that, in would have argued that the informal…

Final paper Young people develop psychological challenges when faced with skin infections. They tend to feel embarrassed and isolate themselves from their peers. If the infection persists, they suffer from low self-esteem and may develop harmful addictions. While some skin disorders are temporary, others may cause permanent consequences.  One of the most severe skin disorders is acne vulgaris. Studies show that acne vulgaris affects about 80% of adolescents globally. Besides, up to two-thirds of the global adult population are prone to this infection. Acne vulgaris mostly affect the face and may also occur on the upper arms, trunk, and back. Previous researches suggest that the most common effects of acne vulgaris are negative self-image and poor social relations. However, these effects vary among persons. For instance, female acne vulgaris patients become more vulnerable to their health-related effects than males. Also, some patients develop more significant impairments, while others only face mild challenges. Amongst the negative impacts, most patients suffer from depression, loneliness, and internet addiction. As such,  Coşkun Öztekin and Aynure Öztekin conducted this study, titled “The association of depression,…

PEER REVIEW The study on the Effect of low-calorie versus low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet in type 2 diabetes involved 363 participants. The research on obese and diabetic patients aimed at determining the influence of two dietary programs, particularly LCD (low-calorie diet) and LCKD (low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet), on their general health. From the research, a significant difference in the waist circumference, body mass index, and the bodyweight of non-diabetic and diabetic participants in LCKD and LCD groups was evident in comparison with their week 1 (initial) and week 24 (final) measurements. The low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet was effective than the low-calorie diet. The two study groups’ blood sugar levels were considerably reduced despite the LCKD group members decreasing their antidiabetic medication to half. Some completely did not utilize the treatment program. Furthermore, glycosylated hemoglobin levels diminished in the low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet group in comparison with the two diets in the diabetic study participants’ group. The non-diabetic and diabetic study participants in the LCKD category revealed a significant reduction in low-density lipoprotein, total cholesterol, and triglycerides levels, while the high-density lipoprotein level considerably improved.…

Burnout Nursing is perceived to be a high-risk profession since nurses are always putting their lives on the front line to handle emergencies. Therefore, nurses are more vulnerable to mental problems and psychological stress, which leads to burnout. Burnout refers to a state of life-threatening exhaustion due to long term stress. Stress in this profession could be due to; personal reasons or issues at the workplace. Burnouts result from a lack of support and working in an environment with fewer nurses than the patient number (Hetzel-Riggin, 2020). When nurses experience burnout, it leads to decreased nursing quality. This paper summarizes findings in the article, nursing shortage in Poland and other countries in the face of employee aging. The number of aging people in the world is likely to rise from about 901 million to 1.4 billion by 2030. With a rise in the population of the elderly, the community is expected to get chronic…

Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Date Negative Effect of Ignoring Minority Language Loss Language is a symbol of a state or nation and a representation of ethnic identity for the majority and minority communities. It provides autonomy for people who are enjoying it. Therefore, both societies have great desires to keep their languages alive and transfer them to new generations. However, minority languages have always had too little chance to survive compared to the high prestige of majority languages. Owing to reasons ranging from nationalist language policies, linguistic to social reasons, many could not survive. In linguistics, language’s death occurs when a language loses its last inborn speaker, while language disappearance occurs when it is no longer identified. Therefore, loss of language is referred to as the suppression of the mother tongue or indigenous language. The language loss results in the loss of human factors, embodied by the language, relevant for self-representation, self-expression, self-definition, and economic and socio-cultural growth. There is a need for language learning because it helps in; growth of the brain, better memory, better-listening skills, higher verbal…

Social Science: Understanding a Good Survey Research Design Name: Institution Affiliation: Course: Date:             Section A: Understanding a Good Survey Research Design I would like to research for this report about the minorities’ perceptions of police use of excessive force and causes in the US. The topic is a crucial one, especially with communities of color in the United States, because some communities feel that law enforcement officers often apply excessive force while arresting them as compared to the white community. Despite this occurring, policies regarding the use of force vary within various departments and agencies are not similar. Survey research is crucial in designing projects centering on unique topics within society. Researchers use it to investigate a particular issue within society and obtain various opinions from each participant, allowing them to explore multiple dimensions of the topic under survey. The subject guides the researcher to formulate specific objectives, problem statements, and best approaches to use in the study. It is essential to formulate guiding questions in a survey that…

Memorandum   To: From CC: Date: Subject: Reflecting on the Book; Luck is no Accident: Making the most out of Happenstance in your life and career Introduction Luck is No Accident: Making the Most of Happenstance in Your Life and Career is a book written by John Krumboltz, which addresses about unplanned events, chances, and occurrences. Krumboltz explains that unplanned events in life determine one’s life and career. These unplanned events might be a chance meeting, a broken appointment, vacation trips, a hobby, and even a fill-in-job. Unexpected experiences in life lead to unexpected life directions and career choices. Most people, especially those who are about to graduate, might not know where to begin after graduation. Some students try to figure out where to begin the “real world”, and every person has a different opinion about where to begin. According to Krumboltz, it’s okay for a person to fail to know about their future or even plan it on time before they are 21 years. Luck is No Accident is a book that can help young people unlearn most perceptions…
