Professional development has had some challenges in the education sector. As such some issues need to be addressed such include, incompetent planning, lack of facilitation, and wrong timing of the professional development programs. My opinion is that in every profession, professional development is very essential in the improvement of the performance of the employees.     To ensure that the system of education is effective it is critical to make sure that employees in the profession are regularly equipped with necessary knowledge and skills through training. When the workers were offered the job, they had the qualifications, but it important to keep inducting them to ensure that their productivity is improved. In some other instance the professional development programs are arranged, but their implementation becomes a challenge thus ineffective and bring about frustrations to the employees as well as other stakeholders. As such it would be wise for every institution to embrace the program since it helps in placing the employees at a position where they are in line with the changing world.

Whenever working for an improvement strategy for a course it is important to involve the employees actively. These are the people involved in actualizing the goals set in any corporation, they are the key determinants to making achievements.   An improvement strategy course is critical in ensuring the improved performance of the employees. The performance of any organization largely depends on the type of workforce thus making it important to involve them in every strategy that affects the firm. These are the elements that help in the actualization of the goals set, anything introduced to make the organization yield better results await the implementation from these employees. Consultations need to be there to understand what they need. This reassures that there is no likely resistance to the strategies to be introduced. Employees perform better whenever they feel much involved in the whole process, it develops a sense of responsibility in them.

It is possible to have a collectivist subculture within an individualistic culture. An example of such a collective subculture is hackers. They exist in a manner that is a group of people who are selfish in that they tend to do only what values them forgetting about the community. One of the traits of individualism is being self-reliant, this characteristic may show up in the hackers in the sense that they can get what they want without relying on anyone else. There are groups of people who tend to behave as individuals depending on what they do. A good example is a group of hackers who only values their lives and livelihood. They would do anything to see that they get what they need, even if it means taking it away from society. The characteristic of being self-reliant in the individualistic culture seems to thrive in this subculture. With the know-how in technology, they have everything they require.

First, he notes that communication is critical and is governed by perception, culture, curiosity, misperception, and rules and regulation. This essay seeks to explore the various nuggets or take away from Riccardi’s Ted talk. Firstly, he talks about perception. He discusses people perception, and he is always ready to test their perception (Riccardi, 2014). He does this by quoting “people see what they want to see, but they do not see what you see.” From the clip, he discusses one of the scenarios where he is speaking English fluently and the people assisting him to pay a lot of attention to what he said but when he changes and speaks English in Italian accent people do not pay attention. We can, therefore, not that people see what they want but what you want. Secondly,…

It is apparent that the Engineer was acting outside the law by failing to disclose that she has a conflict of interest that would hinder her capacity as the engineer in charge of the project. By expressing interest in a construction project that she was in charge of its design, billing, tendering and inspection puts her in a compromising situation. This is because; any person expressing interest in a public project should not have any involvement whether directly or indirectly in the preparation of the bid documents. By failing to declare that she has a stake in one of the companies that would be interested in the bidding for the project once the tendering process began, she ignored the conflict of interest that would arise later on.
