The Categorical Imperative entails the principle of morality to the agents. The act of Categorical Imperative is a command that addresses agents who have a choice to follow depending on their virtue of rational will. The criminal justice system/police officer is to make decisions regarding a convict; they are the initiates of starting and controlling the criminal’s act and verdict. Through the Categorical Imperative, they hold the fate of the individual and allegations towards them. A moral is a form of categorical Imperative; if the criminal justice system has a gap in morality, the uphold of law in the system tends to below. The accused will progressively have a hard time in their criminal proceedings and may be unfair or unjustly, arrested, judged and convicted.

Is the suspect treated as an END and not as a MEANS to some other end?
The act is categorized as a means of ensuring humanity justice system, is treated as an end itself and not always as a means. The universal law formula of humanity creates the prospective of respect of value towards human beings. However, the act does not disqualify the act of using humans as a means to our ends since through morals we use. The act of establishing humanity in one is what we treat as an end in itself. There has to be a basis that entails the capacity in which society engages one into self-directed rational behaviour to reach owns lots. Humanity is a sense of end the negative sense, the act of limits and pursuing other ends limits once actions against inhumanity. The objective future of humanity ensures that any rational being performs the duties perfectly as per needed. The criminal justice performances, to achieve their needed service to the community, through practical Imperative they respect and see the worth of humanity. Thus a suspect should always be treated as an end itself and not as a means because no matter the deed ones humanity is still intact.
