My top of the 10Ds includes dedication, determination, devotion, dream, decisiveness, destiny, doing, and details. I dedicate lots of time and effort to my business, sometimes at the expense of friends and family. I am also devoted to my business, such that I feel motivated to go on even when the going gets tough. The intensity of my determination keeps me away from giving up, even when faced by obstacles that can seem impossible to overcome. I constantly dream of the greatness the future holds for my business and am ever looking forward to furthering growth even when it may seem to some people that I have attained my goals. I do not particularly appreciate postponing things and prefer to act as soon as possible when I feel the need to do so. I recognize that most times, postponement means that one may actually never do what they need to do. I am a doer and always make sure to complete my to-do- list even though it means putting more hours of work in a day. I enjoy being my own boss. I prefer self-employment to since I feel confident enough that I am the best determinant of my destiny.
My bottom of the 10D’s include the dollar and distribute. I sometimes overlook opportunities of venturing into fields that I am passionate about due to the fear of looses or low profits. I, however, realize that I need to work on that since I have learned that getting rich should not be the prime motivator of an entrepreneur. Also, I have trust issues making it difficult for me to delegate duties and distribute the ownership of my business with my employees. I realize that I have to improve on my distribution by establishing a criterion of vetting people I can trust since employees are critical for the success of a business.
