Appreciation Speech for Tony Stark
Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. We are all gathered here to appreciate one man we have all learned to love, appreciate, and respect equally. Few people manage to identify their life’s purpose, and even fewer choose to commit to it as Tony Stark has. As I stand here before you, I have no doubt when I say that you have been an inspiration to millions of Americans and more others throughout the world. Your life has not been perfect; nobody has. In fact, the main reason we get inspiration from you is that you have had your own mishaps along the way. That has shown us that you are only human. But the unwavering dedication, the selflessness, and hunger with which you exhibit in your journey to right your earlier wrongs and make the world a haven is what is almost inhuman.
Your intelligence is no secret; of course, you remind us of that whenever you have a chance. However, the fact that you choose to use this to serve humanity is no small feat on your side. Now and again, you have almost single-handily saved the universe from jaws of destruction and devastation. But perhaps, even more admirable is your realization that not a single person can solve all human problems, and a more human and proactive approach best counters society’s challenges. As a result, you have effortlessly mentored and offered a helping hand to many who needed it. Whereas many would have gone committed themselves to glory-seeking, you have chosen corporation. Many people will praise you for so many other qualities. But for me, I choose to thank you for choosing to be human even when we both know your ability is beyond this world.
