Art involves applying human creativity in a visual form through painting to bring out work specifically for beauty. Art also entails interacting elements like texture, form value, and principles like movement, balance, proportion to develop exemplary works of art. The essential purpose of every artist is to connect their work with the emotions of people. The artist has used the right color, line, texture, shape, and size to bring out something appealing to the senses to generate strong emotions. The artist has also brought out the most vital feature, which is formalism. They have presented their work purely on visual aspects; one can see all the essential elements used because of the qualities of color, the paint used, and the composition, which has brought out the aesthetic value(Mainardi,2018).
The artist has used paint on the portrait to bring out the sense of realism to bring out the uniqueness of an individual’s identity. The conservative characteristic of this portrait and what the subject is holding bears some similarity, which depicts the wealth status, and the taste of fashion, thus emphasizing the beauty of the artistic work. Thi subject’s identity and character are associated with their personality and look that make the issue unique. According to the moral, religious, physical perception that gives the viewer room to judge according to what they see. Watkins (2016) alludes, Americans treat art as a public affair instead of a personal affair. Art supports about 4.8 million jobs as it supplies an excellent chance for trade. Therefore this portrait reveals that since art is a national affair, any artwork should be standard and meet specific qualifications.
