Enhanced technological advancement has positively affected communication. Generally, communication in the modern world has been made easier because of technological advancements. Today, people can communicate with each other regardless of their physical distances on the planet by using technological gadgets (REFERENCE). For example, people in the United States can communicate with their friends in Kenya, a country on the African continent, using the telephone. Inter-continent communication is something that was not easy in the analog era. Apart from telephones’ use, technological advancements have led to the invention of social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter (REFERENCE). Social media sites have provided platforms where people from different parts of the world can communicate without being physically in contact. For example, a person from Asia using Facebook can send messages to a person living in the United States at his home’s comfort. People from different parts of the world can interact on international concern subjects such as climate change and sports via Twitter. Moreover, people can hold virtual meetings in the modern world as a result of advancements in technology. The skype invention has enabled managers to hold virtual meetings with their employees, even when they are miles away (REFERENCE). Managers can, therefore, run their business activities without being physically present in the office. Apart from making communication very easy. Technology advancement has also made communication confidential. The use of emails, especially in the corporate world, has enabled people to deliver confidential messages that unauthorized users cannot access because a password secures all the emails. The email owner can read the message emailed to him by accessing his email account using a password. Technological advancement has also enabled people to be informed about their environment. Today, a person from Asia can read what is going on in the United States by accessing the United States’ current trends on the internet. People are now becoming more sensitive about what is happening in society because they feel that the world is a community, and when one region of the world is affected, the whole world is affected either directly or indirectly.

First, advancement in technology has brought people together regardless of their race or ethnic background. Previously, a person used to relate with only the people from his or her locality (REFERENCE). Rarely could you find a person having a conversation with people from abroad. However, today, friends and family members use technological gadgets such as mobile phones to keep their relationship bond strong despite being miles away from each other. People can call and text each other using their phones, where they can share memories and arrange for meetings to keep developing their relationships. Also, social media platforms that have been created due to the advancement of technology have enabled people to develop new friends all around the world. Sites like Facebook and Twitter allow the users to post pictures or other events that are happening, and other people to comment on the same. People’s comments on the posts made by their friends on social media platforms is normally the beginning of friendship (REFERENCE). Once a person has commented on the post made by another person, they can follow each other and start sending direct messages, which will allow them to get to know each other very well. It’s important to mention that the concept of diversity that is driving globalization is founded on the enhanced interaction of people on social media (REFERENCE).
