Hello Andrej,
Thank you very much for reaching out to me. I look forward to the opportunity to move to the next step and eventually join the Alpha Investors team as a writer.
As a writer, I love to research. A good research process helps to give me a good general understanding of the subject matter. It also helps me ask myself better questions to give the best answers to educate my audience. I find it helpful to combine qualitative and quantitative information-gathering techniques and strategies. This can include interviews where applicable, public records, surveys, database analysis, and online information gathering.
I try to employ various research methods to collect and analyze data and information for news and online content. This helps me to be able to defend the value of freedom of information in a marketplace full of ideas. By employing the research techniques mentioned above, I can easily and quickly evaluate and organize information and prepare for publishing.
As a seasoned writer, I know that fake news stories are a big problem can have real-life consequences; I use the following important factors to check whether the information is genuine or fake:
- Read past the headline
- Check the authenticity of the news outlet that originates the story
- Check the date and time of publishing
- Try to identify the author
- Interrogate the links and sources that have been used
- Look out for questionable photos and quotes
- Beware of confirmation bias
- Check whether other news outlets or authentic websites are running the story or info
- Think again about the information before I submit for publishing
My typical week runs from Monday to Friday. Since I am a full-time freelance writer, I can comfortably deliver between 1,500 and 2000 words daily, five days a week, to make it up to 7,500 to 10,000 words a week. And yes, I have a little experience using Clearscope, one of the best content score and make content optimization tools.
Once again, thanks for allowing me to say a little bit more about myself. I am available to answer any other questions you may have.
Warm Regards,
Tom
