Chapter 13 requires the reader to understand how to write proposals. Such proposals are meant to persuade a company or an organization over a certain subject and the benefit of the subject. The Proposal, however, needs to be time-sensitive to become functional, and it should acknowledge the conflicting opinions and how the proposal will overcome them. Internal proposals are meant to address a company’s internal issues and appear as formal or routine depending on their appearing frequency. External proposals are for the clients and customers who do business with the company and can be submitted as solicited or unsolicited proposals. Grant and research proposals are proposals meant to raise funds for a specific project. While sales proposals for marketing, time-sensitive are high priority proposals meant to meet an organization’s deadline. Request for proposal is used when a company needs to outsource for a certain project or task.
This Chapter is essential in my future career as its content is practically related to what is going on in the business world. Many companies have problems that need to be solved. While. While another company or individual might have a way to solve the problem, they lack the expertise to relay the information correctly. A competent person will be able to write a document that will address its right audience and, at the same time, delivering the needed content. Writing proposals is an important part of the business world, where ideas and strategies get shared through proposals. Having expertise in proposal writing will be an added advantage, especially during job recruitment. This chapter will also benefit me in writing a high scoring academic project that is mandatory upon completing my academic period. A well-written proposal will enable the school to rate my understanding of what has been taught since the start of the season.
