Case study summary
The case study presents a number of administrative failures at Sunny Farm Residential Service. There is high staff as well as movement turn over with the longest-serving staff being just one with 6 years while the rest have served for less than 2 years affects performance (Field & Brown, 2019). In about 18 months, the facility has had four managers. Workers appear disengaged, with many cases of absconding duty reported. Maria, the new manager, is also expected to deal with cases of incompetent and demotivated team leaders, rampant cases of professional misconduct, violence and assault at the facility, and drug use cases, including alcohol and narcotics.
