Carl Safina is an ecologist who is concerned about the environment and has written several articles for the same. One such article discusses the danger that endangered species are at especially by new rules enacted by the Trump administration. Dr Safina has highlighted the limitations of the rules which he says will diminish the protection laws of those species. Species which have been existence for many years are at a danger of becoming extinct. Safina states that there is a considerable number of species that is unknown to most people, yet they may be extinct. The enlisting of species weakens their importance. The existence of endangered species is threatened if no actions are taken to protect them and their habitats.

I agree with Safina’s perspective that the existential risk is high right now which is facing living species most it constitutes human activities such as pollution of water bodies, urbanization, chemicals in agricultural activities, excessive fishing, hunting and deforestation. Besides Trump’s rules that is weaken the protection of endangered species, they rule place the Endangered species act at risk because they pave ways for activities that threaten the species, such activities include drilling of oil and gas, mining and projects which diminish the composition of America’s living endowment. The future listings are affected and threatened by the rules that have been a success for many years trying to save plants and animals from becoming extinct.

For two years during his presidency, Trump has not been able to eliminate and fix the Endangered Species Act because it has major support by Republic Congress. He is now exenterating the Act by stripping effective regulations. His new order undermines vital protection of habitats however such habitat is the only place the species would be hosted for recovery. Trump’s rule hinders the process of listing and is not concerned about the diminishing viability of habitats as a result of climate change. A survey financial will be conducted for the first time inline of discussion about the fate of endangered species.

I am concerned about the existence of animals because they need us now than ever. If the existence of these animals is not put into consideration, then their existence may cease to exist because of the dangers present. The survival of animals is a moral issue, and even religion encourages the preservation of nature. Endangered Species Act has been successful in the US is combating threats and risks. Some changes have been a success in saving many marine animals, some bird species in North America, Canada, Arizona and California. The has also made it possible to recover some rare species.

Recovery of much wildlife has been enabled in the US. Humans are also threatened by factors that pose threats to other species. Pollution of water will cause sicknesses and degradation of land; the safety of species is possible if people apply the necessary efforts. It is true what Les Kaufman, an ecologist state that the efforts for conservation on a prolonged time can pay off if people utilize the chance they have, however, people are often resistant to do so with their love for nature. Endangered Species Act exists and is the only organization that practice overall protection and recovery of animals and plants. However, I stand against Trump’s Act to eliminate the Act. The wide range of species the country is privileged to have is worth saving.

In conclusion, the existence of endangered species is at risk is no action being taken to protect the environment, as the American nation is blessed to have beautiful nature that unites the overall country, the Endangered Species is recognized by the country due to its role and responsibilities, to neuter, the act is to contempt over the nation blessing.
