The contemporary social issue that is important to me is the aspect of racial discrimination in society. Accordingly, racial discrimination is directed towards individuals from a particular race considered the minority in society[1]. The aspect of racial discrimination reduces the quality of life in society and translates to a life of suffering in society. Besides, racial discrimination leads to unequal distribution of resources and opportunities in society. This aspect makes people from the minority race to have limited potential in society. Also, the individuals’ talents from the minority race are not effectively extracted in the community, thus limiting the minority in the innovation summits. The limitations against the minority races in the society reduce a sense of belonging to the community among them, leading to lower levels of coordination in the society[2]. Consequently, the poorly coordinated society reduces the aspects of inclusivity in the community. The essay addresses the mechanisms of public persuasion concerning the contemporary social issue of racial discrimination and thus transforms the public’s mindset regarding the problem.

In my persuasive plan, I would like the public to adopt effective strategies to eradicate social discrimination in society. For instance, I will like the public to adopt the fact portraying that the race of a person cannot define the capabilities of an individual in the community. Thus, the mechanism will enable the public to shun the ideology of racial supremacy and race inferiority[3]. This mindset transformation will allow the public to have an equal perspective to all individuals in society. Besides, individuals in the community will base their judgment on individuals’ abilities as opposed to their races. Consequently, this strategy will increase coordination in society and thus promoting the feature of inclusive social relations. Inclusivity has the potential of integrating the living conditions of individuals in society. Besides, coordination in society has the capacity to enhance sustainable development in the community. Accordingly, this is because all society races are actively involved in social development[4]. Moreover, the coordinated and diversified races in society can draft a variety of solutions to the problems in society. The solutions constitute a considerable capacity of sparking considerable reformation of the society.

For racial discrimination, the persuasive movements advocating for change are effective in the transformation of the mindset of the society. For instance, movements such as Black Lives Matter are appropriate because they indicate that all races in society are important. Thus, there is no need to discriminate against people from a particular group based on [5]. Consequently, the movements imply that an individual’s abilities cannot be determined based on their race. Accordingly, an individual’s competence is the best criterion for establishing a person’s capacities regarding the execution of various duties in society. The idea of competence promotes the equal distribution of resources and opportunities in society. Besides, equality in access to opportunities and resources leads to sustainable development in the community. Sustainability positively impacts the quality of life in the society by reforming the negative racial beliefs[6]. The movements advocating for eliminating racial injustices in the community can be concluded to have the best interests of discriminated individuals. Therefore, the movements offer a framework of the necessary adjustments for positive social change. Positive social change plays a vital role in eliminating the negative in eliminating injustices in the community.

Besides, to create an impact in enhancing the eradication of racial discrimination in society, I will adopt advertising persuasion to gain support in society. In enhancing advertisements, I will use social media platforms to present my issues[7]. Social media is the best means of advertising platforms because most people use social media considerably. In advertising, I will portray negative implications that are enhanced by racial discrimination in society. In this way, I will manage to sensitize individuals concerning the need for change for the negative ideologies based on race. Consequently, the act of several people advancing my claim of eradication of racial discrimination will induce positive results in the process of eradicating racial discrimination in the community. Mass opinion in the society shows to have a significant power of transformation, and thus it is appropriate for eradicating racial discrimination in the society. Moreover, in advancing persuasion advertising, I will indicate the positive implications of eliminating racial discrimination in society. For instance, I will show efficiency associated with development in society if racial discrimination is eliminated. This approach will offer the public the reasons they support my motives for eliminating racial discrimination in the society[8]. Therefore, the process of using advertisement in the social media platform to promote the eradication of racial discrimination indicates to be a broad-scale strategy because it influences a large number of people.

In the process of advancing interpersonal persuasion, I will communicate clearly, openly, and directly while expressing the need for the eradication of racial discrimination. In this way, I will convince an individual why racial discrimination is an undesirable aspect of society. Besides, by communicating vividly, I will enhance the understanding of an individual on the manner through which social discrimination manifest in the society[9]. Thus, individuals will adopt effective strategies that will prevent the advancement of racial discrimination in the community. Moreover, in interpersonal persuasion, I will advance the win-win resolution of racial discrimination in society. In this approach, I will indicate the positive implications of eradicating racial discrimination in society. For instance, I will imply the rapid rate of development that can be attained by eliminating racial discrimination in society.

From the above illustration, it is clear that racial discrimination’s contemporary issue affects the quality of life in the community. To integrate people’s living conditions in society, effective strategies should be adopted to enhance the elimination of racial discrimination in society. Besides, the social media platform has the capacity to accelerate the rate of eradication of racial discrimination by enabling a large number of people to perceive the negative effects of racial discrimination. Moreover, in accelerating the address of the contemporary issue of racial discrimination, individuals should be sensitized to how racial inequalities manifest in society. Through increased understanding of the nature of the advancement of racial inequalities, individuals in society can draft effective curbing mechanisms.
