Target Market.

For the New wash shampoo, my target market is the rural population in the United States of America.

  2. Age

My age target is the young population since they are consuming lovers, and most of them are open to new experiences in shopping; hence this can be a huge opportunity since New wash shampoo is a new product in the market.

  1. Gender

I will be targeting the female since they are more interested and curious as compared to men. Moreover, our product is naturally designed to attract the female’s attention (Vijayalakshmi & Gurumoorthy, 2019). Since more females like short hairs, they will require to use the New wash shampoo to protect their hair.

The product would also attract the working consumer since most of the work for long hours, and therefore they will need shampoo as it protects the hair for a long period.

The Geographic circumstances in the USA of hot weather penetrate to most rural areas. Due to the hot conditions, the need for bathing emerges inevitably, and in summer times, the New wash shampoo will be essential for these people.

A person’s interest is a key factor, and therefore due to the natural design of the shampoo, most of my target population will love it.

More so, the beliefs and attitudes are crucial as people generally believe that the more shampoo they use, the cleaner their hair becomes. This will be advantageous since the shampoo will be regularly used, and people will need it in larger quantities.

Individuals who are involved in hobbies such as sports take showers regularly and therefore consume lots of shampoos. The use of the New wash shampoo will facilitate their social lives.

Some social influential factors always influence most of the consumers, and therefore men are known to wash their hair more frequently because of their small hair and therefore use more shampoo.

As a result of all these factors for my target market, New wash is expected to find its place in the market and make more profits.

Competitor Analysis.

The Apple cider vinegar hair rinse is the top competitor that is directly linked and can be used as an alternative to the New wash shampoo. The main target market for Apple cider vinegar hair rinse is the working-class individuals and most girls in urban and rural populations. This hair product’s price is approximately $15 per bottle, and the product can be bought online from Amazon. Their product’s slogan is “cosmeticos naturals,” and they promote their product mostly through social media advertising. Moreover, their primary product advantage is that their product is majorly made from natural products, thus attracting consumers (Pohlad & Gregg, 2017). However, their weakness is that when one splashes your skin with it, t is very painful and can cause skin damage.

Positioning

To differentiate my product from that of my competitor, I will make it available in most shops and online stores. Since Apple cider vinegar is mostly available online, my advantage will be to make my brand known and reduce any side effects. My product is unique because it has a body’s natural protective barrier, which is an advantage over my top competit\. The shampoo’s characteristic of cleaning without detergents will promote its uniqueness and position in consumers’ minds.
