Firstly, the company utilizes the student-centric method. In this method, Learnica’s TSLAT delivery is based on cognitive theories and scaffold instruction research (Learnica, n.d). Through this method, the students are made to understand that learning is about them. The programs therein offer a consistent medium of instruction across all the levels of education from K12 through K5 onwards.
Secondly, the organization utilizes high-achieving mentors. The mentors have attained supper educational skills and knowledge at some of the most selective colleges. This enables the company to offer the best supplemental education delivery model (Learnica, n.d). Of paramount importance to note is that some of the mentors in the company are current undergraduate students. The company’s ambition is to be acknowledged as the eminent provider of home or after school learning programs for students at various levels or grades. The company was established on the grounds of empowering, educating, and enriching students. As such, empower, educate, and enrich summarizes the essence of Learnica.
Learnica imparts mathematical knowledge for K-12 students. The education programs offered by the company support or act as supplementary to the regular school programs. Of importance is that the founder of the company has developed a learning and teaching method based “TSLAT,” which stands for T-Tell me, S- Show me, L – Let me, A – Ask me, and T-test me (Learnica, n.d). To do this, the company utilizes a mental model understandable by the learners.
The organization provides three levels of instruction for the learners. The students are provided with information and are expected to receive continued support from their parents. Interestingly, the company offers virtual classrooms where instructors would teach two 1-hour sessions per week (Learnica, n.d).
