Part Three: Replication in Science
The hypothesis is to test whether urban-heat- Island and the environmental fragmentation affect the community shifts in body size. To do this, the study will employ the same methodology and spatial tools to analyze the effect of urban fragmentation on cricket’s metabolic rate and body size. To test the hypothesis, the study would consider 2400 crickets. Because of this experimental research design, the study would take more than six months. To carry out experimental research, one needs to assemble the necessary research tools and equipment that would be used to catch the crickets and have them investigated from the various urban fields.
