Dream/Utopia Essay
To ensure better living standards for Americans, they should adopt a system with more utopian ideals. Utopia frequently is an ideally better place, particularly in political, social, and moral matters. In a utopian society or community, citizens usually enjoy nearly perfect or highly desirable qualities. Utopia will enable Americans to improve things much more than it is possible. The main aim of a utopian state is to enhance the highest quality of living possible. The term was invented by Sir Thomas for his book Utopia in 1516. Utopia seems to be the best system because of its targets on equality in such categories, such as justice, government, and economics, with structure and suggested implementation differing based on ideology. There are monarchical, socialists, capitalist, ecologist, democratic, anarchists, feminist, egalitarian, racist, reformist, and numerous other utopias. With the characteristics portrayed by utopian ideas, utopia is the best system to be practiced in the United States.
There are also arguments that if utopia is significant for changing the human situation. But if wrong used, it becomes lethal. It implies that Utopia has an innate opposing nature here. No region globally has been extremely more populated with utopian experimentation and utopian longing than the U.S. in the mid-ninetieth century (Le Guin 24). Many people on both sides of the Atlantic trusted that a wondrous and new society was almost to take form in the wilderness of American. It was a period when the proximity of paradise appeared justifiable to reasonable people. Between the Civil War and Revolution in America, almost 100 utopian states were formed in the United States. Those strategies to form a fundamentally new type of society show a scholarly impulse streamed via the American experiment from the first day.
Utopia system, which looks better in transforming the lives of Americans, was initially laid down by the shakers, a small sect named for their physically rough strategy of worship. Their focus for a society offered to fundamental intense collectivism and equality was launched in the fever dream of revelation in religion and the waking nightmare of ancient industrialization in Britain (Le Guin 25). Propelled by their success, secular utopians believed that small and planned societies might be the ideal strategy to remake the whole world. The textile magnate and Welsh socialist in 1824 came to the village of the current Harmony on the Indiana frontier to construct a rationalist, communist utopia that preferred a new moral World. Therefore, this system from that era seems applicable to improve Americans’ lives.
Five components make utopia a favorite system to change the lives of Americans. Utopia system usually has an economic system that does not favor a specific group. It means that the utopian system ensures equality among the citizens (Rothkopf 35). Economically all citizens have the right to have property and resources for prosperity. In coming up with utopia, capitalism was tried, and it left the society somewhere. As a perfect system, it ensures every individual pulls their weight economically. Every community member follows their enthusiasm, whatever that might be, and utilizes that to form a job. Then via the trading system, they exchange their service and good for another. If implemented, the ideological system would make everyone happy, as they can follow their ideas in an economically reasonable way.
Moreover, the utopian system is the best in improving the lives of Americans because it promotes individuality. Individuals should be capable of following their own passion. This is what true individuality in society is at the end of the day. Strictness in society will make some people prosperous than others. It is individuals acting according to their true ideals. It is a key component of Utopia that makes it best to improve Americans’ lives (Rothkopf 35). The system of utopia in America will allow those who love math to do that; those who love farming does that. People with the system are allowed to exceed their passion for bettering their living. This is a significant part of forming a perfect society. It makes people happy with what they are practicing to earn their living. It is bad to be forced to do something that you are not passionate about; therefore, utopia is the best, for it allows Americans to exercise activities they are passionate about in improving their lives.
Another component that makes utopia a good system is that it enhances peace. Peace is significant. Humanity conflicts are the biggest detriments. If, in a society, violence and war are the norms, it simply cannot be perfect for improving the lives of people. Peace usually attracts a host of positive feelings, which is significant for a society to be ideal (Alexander 15). On the other hand, war contributes to depression, pain, unhappiness, and an entire host of other negative feelings. If citizens experience pain, whether emotional or physical, they surely will not trust that society is ideal. Therefore, utopia is the best system for improving the lives of Americans, for it advocates peace.
Utopia is also an essential system, for it allows emotions. Citizens should be enabled to feel what they wish concerning something. Nevertheless, the opinion of an ideal society is to do away, at least for the big part, with issues causing negative emotions (Meacham 32). Utopia as a system ensures it gives people room for any emotion, but it suits the purpose of improving the lives of Americans, for it attempts to eradicate negative feelings in society.
Utopia ensures there are civil liberties. In my idea, this utopian element makes it suitable in an ideal society, for it allows people to trust and reason what they wish. At the same time, I may trust one thing that does not imply that others should not be enabled to trust another. It would be of more advantage if, in a society, there is an argument of ideas and trace the positive sides to each person’s beliefs. Nevertheless, civil liberties do not constitute freedom of opinion and belief. It also includes the entitlement to protest and speech. People can improve their lives if they are allowed to pass their grievances (Alexander 10). These fives components of utopia make it a better system in improving the lives of Americans if adhered strictly without deviation.
In conclusion, utopia is the best system to improve the lives of Americans. It has been applied to describe an imaginary world where social justice is attained and the values that promise it. Utopia symbolizes dreams and hopes. Utopia changes to be synonymous with impractical because a perfect life in an ideal society it provides appears to be out of access. Finally, utopia is the best system, for it allows harmony among people in society religiously, politically, economically, and socially.
