1 Description of the research, including who the target population was (if available)
Cloud computing research underlines the advantages that have consumers often experience in cloud computing. It touches on issues of resource management and the available massive storage in the clouds. The article explains the architecture of the technology concept of cloud computing and. This research also provides the existing functional components related to cloud computing. The target population in this research are the customers in the business community who use technology to process and store data.
2 Research Method used to conduct the research (describe what the researcher(s) did to gather data for the study)
The method of analysis used is the Secondary Data Collection. This method of data collection is the collection of the already gathered data collected. The data used in this research were collected by a different individual who happens not to be the original user. The researcher collected data from books, online portal, and journals. This type of data collection is often cheap. The data collection process through this secondary data collection is easy compared to the primary data collection process. The nature, area of study, and scope of this research necessitated
Use of a secondary data collection process.
2.1. Was the survey distributed? How many questions? How many participants
The survey does not appear distributed. This research was done based on existing data. The researcher introduced new questions as a means to investigate the ones used originally. Based on this research, the researcher has introduced three questions. The data used was sourced from books, online, and journals. It, therefore, does not provide the number of participants in this research other than the researcher.
2.2. Was it a focus group? Was it a case study?
The research was not a focus group but a case study. If it was a case study, it could have brought the issues of having people whom their reactions have to be recorded. Despite cloud computing being a new technology, the focus group requires that people are brought together to provide feedback. This can happen by having at least ten people in a room who are asked questions, and they provide their feedback in regards to the new product. There has to be a moderator leading the discussion for an hour to gather the helpful information. This research does not follow that approach.
2.3. Be explicit
This research used a Case study approach. It described the individual situation of cloud computing architecture in detail. The research focuses on key models and platforms that cloud computing runs on. The research has also used theoretical concepts that are relevant to cloud computing. It has also looked at the key functional issues relating to the architecture of cloud computing. The above-described cases are the general key point s to show that the research was based on a case study using secondary data collection as the main data collection process. There was no record of primary data collection in this research.
3 Findings: Indicate the findings as reported in the article
The research focused on cloud computing architecture history, the components of cloud computing, the relevance, and computerized utilization significance. The article revealed the barriers and key issues in utilizing cloud computing. With these outcomes, consumers have a supplementary (API) for adjusting computation resources such as storage disk and memory. Consumers have control over when rendering tasks to applications and configurations. The cloud computing system offers consumers various resources concerning technology. Such technologies are data processing, networking, and storage of the processed data. The availability of the mentioned resources, allow consumers to install and perform different tasks based on preference.
4 Conclusion: What was the conclusion of the research?
Cloud computing technology provides a framework for storage and software utilization for various businesses. It provides a relatively cheap avenue to utilize resources with a great deal of flexibility and agility for both individuals and organizations. Cloud computing is powerfully attractive to every business entity. Businesses should have a clear understanding of cloud computing to decide on what platform the business is going to run on. The existing platforms are public, private, and hybrid. Every platform has a different set of advantages and disadvantages.
