Computational and Ecological Strategies
In the computation approach, sensations have to be taken Cleary, altered, and processed until there is the generation of behavior. In the case of a successful greeting, computation approach would help in a big manner.
First of all the main aspect between the behavior and the sensation is the brain. The brain is hence built in ways that enable the people to process what they see hence leading to the transformation of work. Hence human beings do what they do because the brain has enabled them to do the thing they do. Therefore in the event of a successful greeting, one greets somebody else, sensations have to be taken. It could what type of greet6infgs does the partner need. Is it a hug, is a normal handshake or is whatever the type of greetings. This will depend on the age of the person greeting you and also the level of respect you owe to the person. If it a fellow age mate you can give them a high five or a big hug but if for example is a respectful government official you have to greet him officially. This has been made possible by the computational approach as it helps in altering and processing the sensations until the correct behavior is generated.
Also, an ecological strategy can lead to successful greetings. In this, good things do not happen only in the brain. The bodies enable people to do some of the things and not others; therefore the way the human beings perceive in the environment gives them space in complex and interesting ways. For instance, one may look at the person moods and determine what type of greetings suits them best whether it is a hug or maybe a handshake. In this, the outcome is mostly from the individual’s environment.
Between the two approaches, the computational approach is simpler and more robust as one does not need to strain a lot in knowing how to greet a person in the best manner.
